Speedy deletion of Dj warrior edit

A tag has been placed on Dj warrior requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Your ongoing edits edit

Please stop your addition of "Dj warrior". It will not only get deleted, but your account may face temporary/permanent editing restrictions. Thank you. ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 22:58, 12 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Dj warrior edit

A tag has been placed on Dj warrior, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Dj warrior and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 22:58, 12 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Reply from my talk page edit

Look, it only seems non-notable since other admins keep deleting it. Go to the discussion and state why it should be kept. Another thing: add your comments to the bottom of my talk page, not in between other messages!. And, always, ALWAYS, sign your comments with ~~~~. Like me here: ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 23:30, 12 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'm asking you for the Second TIME!: Add your messages to the BOTTOM! of my talk page, and not between older messages! STOP IT! Now, I'm not bored with anything. If you really, really disagree with my classification, take it to Dispute Resolution or go to the AfD discussion and comment on it. Now, the message on the top of your page saying I don't know what I'm doing is kind of a personal attack. Stop doing that. ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 09:22, 13 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

My Wikiquette Alert entry edit

Dear Editor:

I have felt a personal attack on some recent edits of yours, and have entered a Wikiquette Alert on their noticeboard. Please understand my decision to ask other Wikipedians for input. Thank you. ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 03:13, 14 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

DJ warrior edit

It's not my job to make your article meet standards. A normal, everyday Wikipedia user should not have to follow a bunch of links to find the validation information. Please use the REF command I provided to you in your article. I recommend you do this soon, because once deleted, it will have protection placed to prevent it from ever being created again. I'm just trying to help, and by giving 1 week, you've got more time than usual. BMW(drive) 20:46, 14 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

a) Your article AND b) Where to place TALK comments edit

First, I have advised the AfD that you have edited the page. It still must go through the process - that cannot be stopped. If multiple editors feel that your article in improperly cited, and not notable, it will be deleted and this time page protected to prevent re-creation. It's VITAL to create a properly referenced article to begin with, and NOT re-create once it has been deleted once unless you have fixed all of the original issues.

SECOND: DO NOT EVER put your talk comments at the TOP of a page - they belong at the bottom where they will be properly found. You have screwed up my archiving (among other things). NEW info belongs at the bottom, not the top. If you do that again, I will be faaaar less likely to assist next time. BMW(drive) 21:34, 18 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Warning: This user is a grumpy old man and sometimes says mean things. If you're offended, I apologize in advance and ask you to please don't bitch about it on my talk page. Oops, I did it again. ^_^;

Deletion of DJ Warrior edit

The article on DJ Warrior was deleted by community consensus: see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dj warrior. If you think the AfD was procedurally flawed, or you think a new article is now sufficiently improved as to not be subject to the same results, you'll need to go through deletion review. —C.Fred (talk) 21:33, 24 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • You'll notice that the result, at the top of the page, was delete. Other than yourself, no other editor clearly favored keeping the article. (Bwilkins' comment is vague and isn't a clear keep.) The interpretation of the AfD is up to Stifle; he's the closing admin. When I deleted the article, it was as a result of the already-closed AfD. —C.Fred (talk) 21:43, 24 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
  • I have gone ahead and restored the article into your user space at User:Journaldiction/DJ Warrior, as this will facilitate further discussion about the article and its fate. —C.Fred (talk) 21:48, 24 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

DJ Warrior edit

I have no intention of restoring the page. Making uncivil and threatening demands is not going to get you very far on Wikipedia, and is in fact a good way of getting blocked. Whether an article is "official" or not has no bearing As C.Fred already indicated to you, you are welcome to list a deletion review if you disagree with the outcome of the deletion discussion. If you do, then please be prepared to explain how the deletion process was not complied with. Stifle (talk) 08:39, 25 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Also, if you feel other articles should be deleted, feel free to list them for deletion. You can add {{subst:prod|reason}} to the top of the article, or add {{subst:afd}} and follow the instructions. Stifle (talk) 08:40, 25 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Conflict of interest edit

  If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article DJ Warrior, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam); and,
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for businesses. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. Thank you. Stifle (talk) 08:39, 25 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

DJ Warrior.. edit

I was in a fight with a user at the time, and I wasn't understanding the policies of how to reference and included external links that were not being excepted, and I was being told that I was violating a copyright somehow, which was untrue, but not knowing what to do I made a false comment stating that I am a partner so it is not a copyright issue. I am just a normal user, die-hard fan trying to give a legend that graced the entire hip hop industry his own place on Wikipedia.. Is that too much to ask for? Thanks,

--Journaldiction (talk) 14:08, 25 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

The responses to your previous messages don't change — deletion review is third door on the right. Stifle (talk) 14:10, 25 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
What do responses have to do with anything? the page has been put back up to generate proper discussion and so far it is all keep votes because this is 100% official, don't be a straight up asshole Stifle, just take 2 seconds to review the credibility, not consensus, that would show your level of professionalism and experience on this site. Don't abuse that power, it would be unethical in the original vision of Wikipedia set out by Jimmy Wales.
Thanks.
--Journaldiction (talk) 14:17, 25 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
I am not replying to you any further until you are willing to interact civilly. Stifle (talk) 14:36, 25 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
I apologize if you took that as a personal attack, that is not my intention at all. I believe that this situation on this article should be reviewed properly, and professionally, and not consensus over credibility as we updated the article to meet Wikipedias policies of notability. I am begging you to return my entry to the main space, as it is notable and widely referenced. What is the big deal?
Thanks,
--Journaldiction (talk) 14:46, 25 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
I notice that you referred to an article as belonging to you. Please be aware that nobody owns any articles on Wikipedia.
Because the deletion was taken at a community deletion discussion, requests to restore the article must go to Wikipedia:Deletion review. Stifle (talk) 14:49, 25 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
