December 2022 edit

Hey, User:Thewolfchild! Thank you for reviewing my user page and passing along these links and tips. As a new editor, I need all the help I can get. Speaking of, I've made my first edit request on the Postal voting in the 2020 United States elections Talk page. I'm trying to fix the Postal service crisis section up a little bit with a new draft that brings the section's language into the past tense, cleans up a few citations, and adds some post-election information about how the Postal Service ultimately performed. If you would like to take a look at this request, I've got a link here. And the full, revised section draft is in a subsection of my user page. If this doesn't fall within your areas of interest or expertise, that's okay. I just thought it might be worth asking for your assessment, since you're an experienced editor. Take care! Hi, not ignoring you. Just not sure if I'm gonna be able to do this for you. If someone else doesn't respond to your request on the article talk page, you can try posting a request at one of the related WikiProjects (posted at the top of the article talk page), or at WP:COIN. Otherwise, give the Teahouse a try (see below), among all of those, I'm sure you'll find someone to help you out. Good luck - wolf 00:29, 25 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the helpful feedback, User:Thewolfchild. I'll be sure to use your suggestions, and hopefully find an interested editor or two soon. Cheers! Jonathan with U.S. Postal Service (talk) 01:07, 4 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Conflict of interest edit

Because you have a conflict of interest, instead of editing the article directly, you should request edits to the article from other members of the Wikipedia community. You can do that by going to our edit request wizard at Wikipedia:Edit Request Wizard, and following the instructions. I suggest this instead of being frustrated by having your edits reverted or deleted. ww2censor (talk) 13:58, 5 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hey, User:ww2censor! Sorry, I think my post on WP: Philately wasn't totally clear. I actually have been using the edit request system, rather than doing direct edits. You can see my request on the Postal voting in the 2020 United States elections Talk page, and the redrafted material I was talking about is on a subpage within my user space. If you would like to review this request, that would be great. But if not, I just wanted to establish that I'm doing my best to follow proper procedure for COI editors. Thanks! Thanks for explaining what you are doing: obviously the best approach. However, edit requests are rather backlogged at the moment, so I hope you can be patient. Unfortunately this is not an area I work on. Thanks for your understanding. ww2censor (talk) 12:02, 8 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
