December 2023 edit

Hi John Leonard NC! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at United States naval districts that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. - Sumanuil. License tagging for File:Map of Naval Districts 1944 Source Furer, Julius Augustus. Administration of the Navy Department in World War II. (Washington, D.C. US Government Printing Office, 1959) 521..gif edit

Thanks for uploading File:Map of Naval Districts 1944 Source Furer, Julius Augustus. Administration of the Navy Department in World War II. (Washington, D.C. US Government Printing Office, 1959) 521..gif. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 18:30, 24 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
