Cast section for the show's article
editHello, Joeylevn. Like I stated on my talk page, the reason that I reverted to this version at the Teen Wolf (2011 TV series) article is because describing the cast that way is similar to the same contextual presentation that Wikipedia:Writing about fiction#Contextual presentation notes. For example, just because Derek is now a Beta werewolf, it does not mean that he is not also an Alpha werewolf; this is because, like "Wikipedia:Writing about fiction#Contextual presentation" states, "this is the way that the story is experienced as it is read or viewed ... At any particular point in the story there is a 'past' and a 'future', but whether something is 'past' or 'future' changes as the story progresses." In other words, what is past and/or is now false to viewers watching Season 3, this is not the case for people who have not begun watching the series or viewers who are not caught up with those aspects of Season 3, unless they have been spoiled. It is also why it is good that "Alpha" has been removed from Derek's description, considering that Derek does not become an Alpha until the end of Season 1. It's not as though readers cannot go to List of Teen Wolf characters for in-depth information that will spoil them rotten. And of course, as you know, there are also the articles for the individual seasons that have a Cast section that fits that particular season. You can ask about this "Keep the cast section general on the show's article" matter at Wikipedia:WikiProject Television to understand what I mean, if you still do not. - Oh, okay - sorry I was unaware of this. Thanks for informing me and I won't edit it again Joeylevn (talk) 14:32, 26 August 2013 (UTC)
- No problem. A lot of Wikipedia television articles don't follow what I stated above anyway about the Cast section for the show's article (as opposed to one about the show's season). And of course you can still edit that section; it's just better that you don't edit it in a way that it's out of step with general readers. Flyer22 (talk) 15:22, 26 August 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for March 3
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Parks and Recreation (season 5), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Adam Scott. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hello, Joeylevn, and welcome to Wikipedia! I have noticed that you are fairly new! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. I also see that some of your recent edits, such as the ones to the page Shawn Mendes, show an interest in the use of images and/or photos on Wikipedia.
Did you know that ...
- ...Wikipedia has a very stringent image use policy?
- ...most images from Flickr, online news websites, and other web sources are copyrighted?
- ...Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously?
- ...freely-licensed images should be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, a central location for images where they can be used on all Wikipedia projects?
- ...we recommend that new users use our "files for upload" process - at least until you get the hang of things?

Sockpuppet investigation
editAn editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Ratherbe2000, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
