Whipping boy edit

I just saw The Times Jan. 16, 2018 article about whipping boys. Another one of those ideas that is just too good to be true, I thought, Wikipedia needs to know about it. Then I saw your great work predating the Times. I suppose it would be no mystery of how you beat the Times if you told me the details - so please just let me keep my impression of you as a wonder worker. Good job. Mistakes edit

You have been moving around some mistakes in English law. Could you please fix the links to disambiguation pages in Template:English contract law and Template:Clist idmistake? The Banner talk 21:43, 1 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Oops. It seems they've been fixed by now in any case. jnestorius(talk) 12:24, 2 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:2015 Irish marriage referendum posters.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:2015 Irish marriage referendum posters.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. B dash (talk) 03:26, 25 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

The image you replaced it with needs to be moved from commons, shrunk to minimum quality, and given a fair use rationale. Also, there is room for both in the article. jnestorius(talk) 05:47, 25 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Refimprove template on 'Irish revolutionary period' article edit

Hiya. A silly question. Which you are entirely welcome to ignore. In short, do you have a strong opinion on what additional references might be required, before the hatnote you added here might be removed?

(I ask only as I'm on a bit of a 'refimprove' kick at the moment. Trying to address some of the refimprove/nofootnotes/norefs/morerefs style templates on some high-level Ireland-related articles. Many of which have been place for a decade or more. I came upon this template which you added in 2012. Given that you had created the article originally, I was wondering if you had a specific goal/expectation for what improvement might be required before it might be removed? There's been a small handful of refs added since. And I can likely bulk up with a few more. But wanted to check before I boldly pushed ahead....)
