Potential Topic: The Two Fridas edit

this wikipedia article is considered to be a "stub" and requires some expansion. I feel as though the article could use some more information to elaborate on the Frida Kahlo self portrait. (Jjp73 (talk) 23:28, 8 February 2015 (UTC))Reply

Potential Topics: Greer Lankton edit

With one of her works featured at the mattress factory museum, I find Greer Lankton fascinating and would like to add more information to expand on not only who she was as an artist, but as a person as well. The piece at the mattress factory, "It's all about ME, not you", is a predominantely autobiographical instillation that reveals a troubled artist. with this in mind, I would like to add on to the existing Greer Lankton wikipedia article. Potential Topics: Feminist Art/ feminist art movement edit

Feminism has become a hot topic in today's society. Wikipedia's article on the topic, however, is quite brief with only a couple of images depicting feminist work. I would like to expand on the topic by including various examples of feminist artwork from a variety of media- from painting to performance art- in order to fully capture the feminist branch of art. All of these sound like productive avenues of research! Remember, you can split your word count between articles, so if you find there isn't sufficient documentation about each of the two pieces above, you can work on both, provided you meet the minimum word count requirement in the end. OK, so I just realized what a HUGE topic this is! Since this article is so thin, it might be good to start by looking over existing description of feminist art from other encyclopedias, in order to narrow down your focus, or direct your research efforts in a productive way. Please come and talk to me about it if you have any questions. I'd love to hear more about your plans for this page! Aolivex (talk) 16:39, 23 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
