Proposed deletion of Powder painting

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Powder painting, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Article leans toward a how to step-by-step process.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. ttonyb1 (talk) 15:21, 9 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

MfD nomination of Book:E:\Documents\lapplanders\research\lapplanders

edit

Book:E:\Documents\lapplanders\research\lapplanders, a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Strangely titled books and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Book:E:\Documents\lapplanders\research\lapplanders during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. UnitedStatesian (talk) 05:20, 2 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

I have been building a book of personal research. Under by user name and under the Contributions menu item you will see the following 19:32, 25 June 2018 diff hist +111‎ User:Jim boles/Books/lapplanders. This contribution I consider valid and active. I don't know what deletion nomination of Book:E:\Documents\lapplanders\research\lapplanders is referring to. It looks to me that it is a reference to a storage location 'E:' on my PC which if true is not valid. Jim boles (talk) 17:14, 2 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Book:Meditation

edit

The book Book:Meditation has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

1 page book. Download as PDF feature is simpler for 1 page.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, books may be deleted for several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated book prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the book's talk page.

Please consider improving the book to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated book prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes still exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and the miscellany for deletion process allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ‑‑Trialpears (talk) 20:14, 22 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
