November 2007 edit

A tag has been placed on “sign-gifts, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Speedy deletion of Great Western Vehicle edit

A tag has been placed on Great Western Vehicle requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Ecstatic Buddhism edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Ecstatic Buddhism, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of the page. — xaosflux Talk 04:36, 10 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

The Great Western Vehicle edit

Hello Jhananda - can you please stop adding material sourced to greatwesternvehicle.org? It does not appear to be a reliable source, and given your persistence in inserting material relying on that site, people are beginning to question whether you have a conflict-of-interest in adding it. Jhananda edit

You ban anyone who disagrees with you on the Jhanna Support Group.

You can NOT cite yourself as source.

Please, stop your disruptions to the World Wide Sangha.

Mahayana's Zen was enough for me to attain Nirvaana....

pacchimayana, even if it is an interesting concept; should not be yet another schism in the Word Wide Sangha.

Vegetable oil fuel edit

Under Vegetable oil fuel/Application and usability/ I found the discussion inadequate on the subject of Vegetable Oil Blended Diesel Fuel. The practice of blending gasoline and kerosene with vegetable oils has been explored by amateurs around the world for about 5 years. They report none of the problems that are associated with blending vegetable oils with diesel fuel. Since the practice has been extensively documented on a number of biofuels forums for at least five years, then it seems reasonable to mention it.

Proposed deletion of Vegetable Oil Blended Diesel Fuel edit

The article Vegetable Oil Blended Diesel Fuel has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article has no sources. Further, the useful content it contains is already posted at Vegetable oil fuel (blending section) and Vegetable oil economy. The remainder is instructive (Wikipedia is not a how-to).

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. E8 (talk) 15:20, 14 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Nomination of Vegetable Oil Blended Diesel Fuel for deletion edit

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Vegetable Oil Blended Diesel Fuel is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Vegetable Oil Blended Diesel Fuel until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. E8 (talk) 13:19, 15 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • Jhananda, you'll note that I removed the unreliable sources (YouTube videos), speculative/incorrect content, and original research from the article. If you have any questions as to why this occurred, I suggest first reading the articles linked in the first sentence. Also note, if this article is deleted, any useful content will be merged into the Vegetable oil fuel blending section. Lastly, as a starting point, perhaps you could post this content somewhere with less rigorous standards (e.g., Peswiki); as more quality sources can be found to support the article, it could be moved back to Wikipedia.--E8 (talk) 22:03, 17 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification edit

Hi. When you recently edited Fractional freezing, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Stratification (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
