Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Speedy deletion nomination of Anzisha Prize
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Anzisha Prize, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 1292simon (talk) 23:12, 23 October 2020 (UTC)
- This page is not unambiguously promotional, because the article has multiple independent reliable sources that pass WP:GNG and are WP:SUSTAINED. Can you point out specific issues of WP:NPOV and remove or delete. The article is inherently notable minus material deemed promotion. see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and many more. Has massive in depth coverage from independent, reliable sources to warrant encyclopedic inclusion -Jambojambo20667 (talk)

In case no one else has told you, your article has been deleted for being unambiguously promotional but has been restored to draft space. (Wikipedia is more tolerant of promotional material in draft space than in article space.) When you have rewritten it from a neutral point of view and established the subject’s notability, I recommend that you submit it for review rather than move it again yourself to article space. Here are a few comments after a cursory look:
- I am surprised that you did not recognize how promotional the article is: The first line alone has the WP:peacock words “highly selective, premier”.
- In terms of notability, Wikipedia is looking for significant coverage in independent reliable sources. I only glanced at your sources, but I noticed that one of them, which was about a recipient, only mentioned Anzisha, which is not significant coverage. I also noticed that many of your references are to anzishaprize.org, which is not an independent source.
Concern regarding Draft:Anzisha Prize

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion under CSD G13. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it. You may request userfication of the content if it meets requirements.
If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available here.
Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia. FireflyBot (talk) 03:03, 25 April 2021 (UTC)
