A comment or two about Wikipedia
editHi Jamal Munshi. I hope you've enjoyed editing Wikipedia. In regard to the note someone left just above, something you might not be aware of is that Wikipedia strongly discourages citing your own work. The recommended approach is that if you think your work is relevant, propose it on the article's talk page and let others evaluate its suitability. Another point is that in scientific areas (especially high-profile topics such as climate change), references generally are expected to be peer reviewed.
Wikipedia has lots of rules and guidelines. It can take a while to get familiar with them. But the goal is to ensure quality of content. I've been here for about 10 years -- even so, there still are things that take me by surprise. If you have any questions I'd be glad to help. No self-published sources on Wikipedia
editUnfortunately you have ignored the advice by the previous commentator. Please read WP:SPS about Wikipedia's policy on self-published sources. It is not appropriate to abuse Wikipedia as a vehicle to disseminate your research. --bender235 (talk) 20:48, 7 November 2016 (UTC)
Due to your misbehavior, I have removed all references to your papers entirely. I will monitor your contributions from now on. You are welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, but make sure to follow our guidelines and policies. --bender235 (talk) 21:07, 7 November 2016 (UTC)
