Hello Jakub Sutuła. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Jakub Sutuła. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Jakub Sutuła|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. 331dot (talk) 09:08, 18 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

You still have not adequately responded or taken action to the inquiry regarding your appearance as an undisclosed paid editor. If you make any additional edits without complying, you may be blocked from editing. You had made a disclosure, but you removed it. Either restore the disclosure or explain why you removed it. Thanks 331dot (talk) 15:56, 18 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Logos

edit

You uploaded several logos and said they were the work of the company. What is your association with the company? Do you understand that releasing the logos as you did means that anyone may take them and use them for any purpose, including commercial, as long as attribution is provided? This would mean that someone could take your logo and put it on their products, for example, and what I assume is your company could do nothing about it. Logos are typically not uploaded to Commons, but to this Wikipedia locally under "fair use" rules. This does carry some restrictions, such as not being allowed in drafts, but means that others could not just use your logo. 331dot (talk) 09:15, 18 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

As you have a conflict of interest, you should submit your drafts for review. 331dot (talk) 15:57, 18 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:

  • Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
  • State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
  • Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.

Why was my account blocked? After today's message, I inserted information about paid editing, and my articles were in draft form, not published for review. They were yet to be rewritten and changed. Please unblock my account, articles written by me I can delete and do in the sandbox, and only publish the final versions. Jakub Sutuła (talk) 09:10, 19 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
You have failed to respond to my post about your use of logos above. You had added a paid notice to your user page, but you removed it. If you put it somewhere else, I don't see where.
Lastly, your drafts need to be submitted for a review as you have a conflict of interest- but they would currently be declined as they are little more than advertisements. Not every product merits a Wikipedia article, it depends on the coverage in independent reliable sources. 331dot (talk) 11:08, 19 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
I now see that you had readded it, but my other concerns remain. 331dot (talk) 11:11, 19 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, I overlooked the logos message. I didn't know it didn't work the way I did - just a beginner mistake. In that case, could you please remove the linked logs from the database, and I will import the new ones correctly?
Also, could you cite which parts of the articles sound like advertisements? I tried to be objective at all costs and this is how these articles are supposed to look. I will reword the text.

You'll have to go to Commons and request deletion of the logos.
Almost the entirety of your drafts are advertisements, largely sourced to your own company. You seem to have a common, fundamental misunderstanding as to what Wikipedia does. Wikipedia is not a place for companies to tell the world about themselves or their products. A Wikipedia article about a product must summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about the product, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable product. For a product that would mostly be unsolicited reviews by professional reviewers, or possibly independent sources discussing the development of a product(like Coca-Cola). Primary sources cannot be used to establish notability. Please see Your First Article. 331dot (talk) 12:53, 19 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
I requested deletion of the logos Jakub Sutuła (talk) 13:14, 19 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
I would add that "advertising" has a broader meaning here than many businesspeople understand the word to mean; it isn't limited to solicitation. 331dot (talk) 12:55, 19 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I have read the terms and conditions of use of Wikipedia, and this, how articles should look. I already understood what the definition of advertising on Wikipedia is, and that it is much more general than what I had imagined. I will again analyze my articles and correct what is wrong, or if there is no need for an article to be created, then I will remove it. I will refer to many more independent sources and make sure that what I put on Wikipedia is described from a neutral point of view, makes sense of existence and is confirmed by independent cites. Decline reason:

I cannnot see unblocking you to edit about the subjects you have been writing promotionally about. At least not until you can show the ability to write in a non promotional manner. Please describe what non promotional, constructive edits you might make. Thanks -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 03:17, 6 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

A change I can make is first of all to do more research on whether a brand definitely needs a page on wikipedia. I incorrectly assumed that the more articles are on wikipedia, the better. At this point in time, after learning more about the rules of wikipedia, I would no longer create such articles, because these brands are not as popular as they should be here. Another important thing I should pay more attention to is sources. If I were to insert an article now, I would use sources that are not in any way related to the brand and that are objective and trusted. In truth, I've learned a lot during this time, and I know that the articles I've written shouldn't be on wikipedia.

Decline reason:

Frankly, you won't be unblocked unless you agree to stop creating articles entirely, at least for the foreseeable future. You've also demonstrated no understanding of WP:PROMO. Yamla (talk) 09:43, 13 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Draft:Casa Don Ramón
