You can change the title by moving a page. Make sure the new title is accurate. If it is a major article, make sure you have a consensus for changing its title. ˉˉanetode╦╩ 10:03, 24 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Re: Tekken Characters edit

Devil and Angel's pages were merged not because of the in-universe context, but because Angel is a pallette swap for Devil. That's all. The story context only complicates things needlessly. King Zeal 21:29, 24 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

The only reason Alex and Roger don't share articles is because I don't frequent their pages enough to merge them. I would have done so long ago if I'd remembered them. However, that aside, while the majority of Tekken articles are based on in-universe story and information, this is actually against Wikipedia standards. For example, if you look at the article for Jin Kazama, you'll note that only a SMALL amount of the page is dedicated to the character's backstory. And that which IS dedicated to his backstory is very summarized and lacks significant detail. It's raw fact--not plot. King Zeal 21:35, 24 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Don't take matters into your own hands. This isn't your site. It's the community's. Ask for others' opinions on the individual articles' Talk pages before you decide to be judge and jury. King Zeal 21:39, 24 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
It's not up to you to decide what article deserves what. As I said, this is a community. If people disagree with you, you don't say "I'm sorry if you don't see it that way". You discuss it with other people, wait for a consensus, and THEN you act. King Zeal 21:44, 24 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
We're not the only two people on Wikipedia. What you can do is PROPOSE to give Angel her own page on the discussion page of the article itself. You can get other peoples' opinions on the matter and see if people agree or disagree with me before you decide "this is how it should be". Again, that's not up to you. Keep in mind that it's insulting to me that you're so willing to dismiss my opinion just because you don't agree with it. It says that you just don't respect what I have to say.
Keep in mind that just because you CAN expand an article doesn't mean you SHOULD. You have to provide citations and direct sources for ALL information included in Wikipedia articles and that information has to be notable.
So no, I'm not just going to let you do something just because you want to or you think it should be done. That's NOT the way it works on this site. King Zeal 21:56, 24 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Yes. Make the title "Separate Article for Angel" and then type in your reasons why you think she needs her own article. I'll provide my reasons for disagreeing after that and then we'll see what others think. King Zeal 22:02, 24 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Miharu Hirano, Roger, Alex, Tetsujin, and any other pallette-swapped character should be merged into the corresponding article. It doesn't help your case about the Angel page to continue pointing out every page that's slipped by unnoticed. King Zeal 01:41, 27 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

hi my name is Allen Jackson, and i heard that you and some other guys where arguing about devil/Angel. Well i could help you out with information i know about them two, starting off with Angel.

Angel. Angel is a Angel sent from the heavens to save kazuya from devil.

Devil. devil is a demon spirit that was within kazuya from when he was born because of jinpachi his grandfarther really started the curse blood of the devil-gene.

now let me tell you something About jin kazama, kazuya son.

jin kazama has both devil in Angel powers within him because of kazuya and jun. now have you ever thought About jun and Angel in your head. now jun has Angel powers to save kazuya from that curse too you know. so that make Angel within jun, they almost the same in a way. so this information will help you solve question you always had About Angel, devil, kazuya, jun, and jin. think About it.put 2 and 2 together and get answers, know what should be what.--Allen jackson 20:52, 14 November 2007 (UTC)Allen Jackson AKA Ace.

Image source problem with Image:Sixaxiscontroller.jpg edit

Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Sixaxiscontroller.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 15:55, 30 July 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Yamla 15:55, 30 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Sixaxiscontroller.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Sixaxiscontroller.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Yamla 15:55, 30 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Can someone please tell me what the hell is going on? I was contributing greatly and to my knowledge I have done nothing wrong that would require an indef-block, a block from account creating and an IP address block. So what is going on anetode? If are blocking me for the comment I made well that was because I was very offended by the comment myself as I found it under your comment on my page. I found some IP address had done it and posted it to you because I thought you could do something about it. I was very upset by it myself. In no way was it me being offensive to you, I hope you can understand that I posted it so you could help me. But I would have thought you would have commented me back instead of blocking me indefinitely. Can someone help? I really want to get back to contributing to this site, and help expand articles.

Decline reason:

I assume that Anetode blocked you because you were engaging in copyright infringement and uploading of copyvios despite your assurances not to when you were unblocked the first time. — Kurykh 22:00, 30 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I just can't believe this. Really I can't believe this at all. After all those contributions, all those emails and everything that I went through to get my account unblocked, do you think I would throw it all away to write a rude comment on your page, Gennadiy? Do you really think that I would be that stupid enough to do that? How many times has it been, How many times do I have to repeat myself, I have no "sock puppets". The only other account I have ever created was MasterJag, so I could still contribute while sorting out my account Jagzthebest. Why would I do such a thing to you anetode? Do you really think I tried hard to understand copyright policy with a word document and all those emails, join the PlayStation Project, contribute greatly to wikipedia, upload video game images with source and fair use rationale, ask you for help- so that I would turn around and write that disgusting comment to you? How could even think that. Honestly, this really does offend me, and you guys are being really unfair.

I told you before anetode, I wrote it because some IP address had written it to me, probably because I had wrongly edited something in Tekken and he didn't like it- I do not know! Maybe it’s Alex or someone else but I am telling you it is not me. I don't care if he likes Tekken, Playstation, if he’s a British Indian, if he’s 15, there’s only one account I use and that is Jagzthebest.

Think about it, I created MasterJag, and I could have easily created other accounts but I didn't, because I'm not like that. I stuck with Jagzthebest and tried hard to understand the policy of fair use so I could come back on Wikipedia and contribute greatly while building a good reputation and earning the trust of the community. Why would I want to throw all that away in a disgusting comment to someone who has given me a fresh start? Why?

Like I said I wrote it because I thought I could rely on you to do something about it Gennadiy, because the comment itself I thought was aimed at me. I have tried really hard on Wikipedia and it feels like I just got a slap back in the face for it. Well thanks a lot. I really didn't think you guys were like this.

As for the images, the six axis controller images were first of my controller, which I took with a camera, but then I decided it would be better to get the official images. I included the license, but forgot to include the rationale, which I was going to do but found myself blocked. And those images were only a few, all the other images I uploaded included source and fair use policy, as you can see through my contributions. I was going to include the source and fair use for the controller, but I had found myself blocked.

It feels like I'm being attacked by an idiotic IP address who wants to write vulgar comments on my page, and by the admins themselves. You keep branding me with "using sock puppets". Why can't you understand that I do not deserve this? Isn't there any way to prove that I'm not using sock puppets?

And to you Rklawton, if anetode did not tell you already, in an email I sent him I apologized for anything I have done against you, or any nuisance I have caused. But please understand that this time I have done nothing wrong.

I truly wish to contribute greatly to Wikipedia, and become a good editor. I wanted to earn the trust of the community and to build a good reputation. I couldn't thank anetode enough for giving me a fresh start, and it deeply saddens me to think that after all those emails and negotiations, he thought I wrote a wrong comment towards him.

So I plead you again, There is just so much evidence to support the fact I was contributing greatly, my user page, my edits, my uploaded images WITH FAIR USE RATIONALE, joining a WikiProject. All of this is being overlooked for one comment which I didn't even write. The only thing I can truly apologise for, is for copying and pasting it in its entirety to anetode's page. I did regret doing that. Because I knew it would have offended him regardless.

So I apologise for anything I have done wrong, but I'm telling you that I have no sock puppets, and that the commenter does not have any association with me. It's a shame to see that I’m not being understood properly at all. And if you choose to ignore this, it will upset me more, and you will have only driven out another good editor.

Decline reason:

This is way too long to read... but the point is simple: you were blocked, you created another account to evade the block, and you admit as much above. This is considered sockpuppetry and block-evading sockpuppets are not allowed per the blocking policy. Request denied, and I see this talk page has already and rightfully been protected to prevent further abuse of the unblock template. --Kinu t/c 06:51, 1 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:T5DR Kuma.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:T5DR Kuma.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 00:05, 25 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
