Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Ashes to Ashes (Chelsea Grin album) may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

It's not clear to me why you're removing referenced genres. Could you explain either in the edit summary or on the article's talk page? Walter Görlitz (talk) 13:50, 8 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, you may be blocked from editing. Walter Görlitz (talk) 13:53, 8 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

i don't know if you understand genres, but you are putting incorrect genres on the escape the fate page. As i have spoken with Craig Mabbitt myself and have read different articles like they self identify themselves as rock, not post-hardcore. Even in articles you read with Escape the Fate, they identify themselves as a "rock" band not a post-hardcore band. The previous early genres should not be included. From what their new album is like, they do not label as post hardcore after their escape the fate album from 2010. As of 2013, they have made a heavy metal, hard rock and metalcore album as known as ungrateful, not a "post hardcore" album. Your committee apparently doesn't understand genre labeling correctly if i impose on that and labels with limited knowledge on genres. I'm letting you know that this is not as post hardcore band, but a "rock" band and that the changes i made were actually correct not "disruptive editing" as you put it. So please next time, do your research on this matter and don't look at my edits as "meaningless" when i actually know what i'm saying. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jabthekiller (talkcontribs) 01:23, 9 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

I understand genres.
I understand WP:reliable sources.
I understand capitalization.
When you change a genre without referencing the genre you're changing, it's a problem. It's not clear if you're opinion or that of a reliable source. So please, next time, show your research.
When you add multiple genres to an infobox, you should capitalize the first word and any proper nouns. The remainder should not be capitalized.
Ideally, as section that discusses the artist's or album's or single's genre or style should be added to the article and that should contain the references. The summary should be added to the infobox. Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:08, 9 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

This is the final warning that you will receive regarding continued genre changing without discussion or sources. If you choose to continue, as you did at Of Mice & Men (band), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. The genres listed in band articles are usually the result of discussion and consensus-building. You must discuss your desired changes at the talk page and get support, and you must cite reliable sources.C.Fred (talk) 16:29, 15 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
