Proposed deletion of Tomas Kalas

The article Tomas Kalas has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. List of Rochdale A.F.C. players

Hi, can you add the source you used for the players you added to the list, because the non-Lge apps information is not currently available for a number of those players from the References section. Thanks. Eldumpo (talk) 07:42, 30 September 2010 (UTC)

As far as I can tell upthedale.com only has these players [1] on its site, with only entries up to #354 Jackie Arthur actually complete with stats e.g. the Jack Livesey entry [2] shows blank stats. Is there somewhere else on the site where further details are available? Thanks. Eldumpo (talk) 17:18, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
Hi, I've realised that I added Jack Livesey at a time when the allfootballers.com site was still available. It means I didn't need to message you at all, so I'm sorry about that, and thanks for the additions. Eldumpo (talk) 20:41, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
I saw this thread - are you aware of the page on the Neil Brown website (http://www.neilbrown.newcastlefans.com/rochdale/rochdale.htm)? Daemonic Kangaroo (talk) 11:53, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

Liam O'Brien

Hmm, okay; as an American, I find the English football world very confusing. I declined the speedy without checking the deleted version, since if he really had played in a professional match, it wouldn't have mattered one bit if it were a repost. I just checked the deleted version, and the two are significantly different, so it doesn't qualify for speedy deletion. I'd advise you to go with a PROD or an AFD. Proposed deletion of Middle Barton F.C. and Wareham Rangers F.C.

I removed the proposed deletion tags you placed on Middle Barton F.C. and Wareham Rangers F.C., as they were both discussed in the same AfD on 23 August 2006 and per WP:CONTESTED are permanently ineligible for deletion via prod. Compliance with policy/procedure is the only reason I did this; I have no prejudice against opening another AfD. —KuyaBriBriTalk 17:58, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of John Morris (Irish footballer)

Ditto my above comment, except this article was prodded in June 2009. Again I have no prejudice against opening an AfD. —KuyaBriBriTalk 20:15, 28 October 2010 (UTC)

Prod

Thank you for the PROD warning, it appears the PROD has been contested - I wrote the article nearly five years ago based on an article at de.wiki, and, on reflection, there were no concrete stats given in the article. It would be interesting to see if any stats are available online. I won't contest any further if you wish to take to AfD, but what stats are available, I must admit I'm uncertain.

All the best. Bobo. 19:05, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

Cheers for the notification - that's cool, thank you. I will delete the AfD notice now that I've seen it, but I will leave your note below so that I know you've gone through with it.
Stay well. Bobo. 20:55, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

Florent Cuvelier

I've declined the speedy tag you placed on Florent Cuvelier. The reason I declined it is because the author wasn't blocked or banned at the time (s)he created the article. Your claim of CSD A7 doesn't work either, since the subject appears to be part of a team which is notable enough for its own navbox. Neil Davids

This is an automated message from VWBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Neil Davids, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.neilbrown.newcastlefans.com/player2/neildavids.htm.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. Refimprove

Hello. Just to let you know there's a BLP version of the {{refimprove}} template, called {{BLP sources}}. {{BLPrefimprove}} would work as a redirect. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 18:53, 30 December 2010 (UTC)

Hi J Mo. When adding general sources (such as stats) to otherwise unreferenced BLPs, please could you add the above template. That way we know that an article is no longer unreferenced, but retain the ability to track down articles that could use some more in-depth sourcing. Keep up the great work! —WFC— 10:59, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
