Speedy deletion nomination of User:ItsJuly.app

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:ItsJuly.app, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. this was a total mistake i'm very sorry. I tought that the user page should be informative page about us and that's why it may seem like an ad or promotion. I do not intend to write an ad article. We have lots of third party references and other citations about It's July App. I hope this block can be fixed please. THANKS ItsJuly.app (talk) 09:31, 20 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of username and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page.

This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Decline reason:

You misunderstand what your user page is for; it is a place for the named user to tell about themselves as a Wikipedia editor or user only. It is not article space. Providing information is a form of promotion; Wikipedia is not for merely providing information, and it is not a place for a business to speak about itself or its products. This is not the place to merely document the existence of something and what it does- articles must summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about the topic, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of notability. Press releases, interviews, announcements of routine activities, brief mentions, or other similar materials do not establish notability. Please read WP:COI and WP:PAID. You won't be unblocked to, in the near term, edit about your app or company. If that is your only goal here, this is the end of the road. If you are interested in being a general contributor and editing about topics unrelated to your conflict of interest, please tell what those might be(like Joe Biden or science or the history of your country). I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 09:33, 20 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
