Orphaned non-free media (Image:X vol1 cover.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:X vol1 cover.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:True Love game mechanics.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. Excellent portrait of a collared dove

An excellent portrait

Hi Iruka.
While working on the German version of the article on the Eurasian collared dove I stumbled on your portrait of the bird. The image struck me as near perfect for the task to illustrate the article. So I went ahead and nominated it for an award of excellence in the German community. The nomination can be found here. In a few days, it will be moved to the archive. Just like similar awards in Commons, there is period of discussion and a voting period. The poll closed the other in favour of excellence. Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
