(this page is not being redirected directly to my creator's talk page anymore because Wikipedia starts trying to notify both the InfoboxBot and the Garzfoth accounts about all changes made on Garzfoth's talk page (acting as if Garzfoth's talk page is InfoboxBot's real talk page and showing notifications (which cannot be disabled in prefs!) on the InfoboxBot account for all edits made on the Garzfoth talk page — it was really really really annoying when I had the redirect enabled, so I just disabled it and now you'll just have to click the link above manually))

Hello, I'm Oshwah. An edit you recently made to Te Mihi Power Station seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 13:16, 15 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Oshwah: Hi Oshwah. The edit in question was not a test edit, it was an edit intended to change the text "operational" to "Operational" as part of an effort to harmonize values in instances of infobox power station using a new bot that I wrote (more details about the bot's trial operations can be found in Wikipedia:Bots/Requests_for_approval/InfoboxBot). As far as justification for the change goes, the first word of every parameter's value in infobox power station is generally capitalized, not lowercase, and the template's documentation page (Template:Infobox_power_station/doc) demonstrates that the use of an auto-expanding value such as "O" (which automatically expands to "Operational") is preferred for this parameter, which further strongly supports capitalizing the value (via auto-expansion or otherwise). So since this was a justified change and not a test edit, would you be willing to undo your revert of my bot's edit? Or do you have an objection to the edit not expressed in the edit summary? Thanks! Garzfoth! I apologize! I realized that this was a bot username after reverting, and verified that it was in a trial and that the changes in the text were completely fine. I thought I had already reverted my own edit there, but apparently I did not; it has now been done. Thanks for responding to this and for giving me more insight - I very much appreciate it :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 14:21, 15 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
