Stats in football players' infoboxes

edit

Hi, when you update the stats in football players' infoboxes please remember that you should also update the |pcupdate= (or |club-update=) parameter. This shows when the stats were last updated and prevents editors from accidentally updating the stats again. Thank you. --Jaellee (talk) 12:34, 26 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Infobox updates.

edit

Hi, I reverted some of your youth league infobox stat updates. Please be aware that the infobox must only contain appearances which were made in senior league competition eg. NPL or the A-League. NYL is not a senior competition, it's youth competition. Thanks. Simione001 (talk) 05:24, 8 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Patrice Evra, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Jacob Pepper, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Defender (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Dean Bouzanis. This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Mattythewhite (talk) 23:50, 31 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

This is your only warning; if you make personal attacks on others again, as you did at User talk:Mattythewhite, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. - FlightTime (open channel) 01:32, 1 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Your comments on FT's talk page are pushing the envelope. I strongly advise you to drop it and move on. Seriously, it's not worth a block. And don't add unsourced content, especially on BLPs. -Ad Orientem (talk) 02:13, 1 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 36 hours for making personal attacks towards other editors. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 05:44, 2 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Oshwah: Could you revoke this guy's talk page access, because it seems like he abused it by making another attack.IanDBeacon (talk) 15:45, 2 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Infobox timestamps

edit

Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. Welcome to Wikipedia! I just wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions were not quite right. When updating statistics within the infobox of a footballer, please make sure you update the timestamp at the same time, so that both readers and fellow editors know when the information was last updated.

You can do this by replacing the existing timestamp within the |club-update= or |pcupdate= parameter for club stats, or the |nationalteam-update= or |ntupdate= parameter for international stats. For articles that use a DMY date format, use five tildes (~~~~~), or for MDY dates, use {{subst:mdytime}}. This will generate the specific time the update was made.

If you have any questions about this, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you, Mattythewhite (talk) 16:14, 20 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please keep this in mind. Robby.is.on (talk) 17:38, 28 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
