Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Visakhapatnam Airport does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks!  LeoFrank  Talk 03:57, 18 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Request reason:

Case of mistaken identity as I do not own the account Theeasytarget nor do I own any other accounts that can be used for sockpuppetry. My account is not in any way connected to the reason for the block. Kindly let me know what can be done to prove my position. Thank you for your help

Accept reason:

After further investigation, I think I may have been over-zealous here - while there were reasons to believe that you were a Theeasytarget sock, I'm now not so certain, and I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. For obvious reasons, I won't go into the details for the original block or this unblock (no reason to give Theeasytarget more information about how we pick up his sockpuppets), but suffice to say this account doesn't fit the pattern as closely as I thought. Please accept my apologies. Yunshui  10:47, 6 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
