The reason that you're not in the category of people seeking adoption is because of some formatting or other edits you've done to your user page which have prevented the categories from displaying - indeed, at present, editing your user page appears to be impossible at least on my browser. I can't work out what exactly happened but the problem seems have started with your edit at 23:11 UTC on 26 November. Are you having problems with your user page as well? If you need me to delete the page and restore the pre-problem version, I will. Regards, BencherliteTalk13:04, 2 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Well, I do not have problems with my userpage. However, when I started editing something and clicked "Show Preview", the category did appear but there was no place to click "Save Page". I clicked on the place at the top of the page where it is written "user page" (near "discussion")and the category disappeared along with what I just previewed.--Idontknow61013:16, 2 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
As I can't see what exactly you've done with your user page to stop it being editable in the usual way and to stop the categories displaying at the bottom of the page, I can't help with that. If nobody offers to adopt you soon, you can always look through the list of adopters and see if anyone there catches your eye. Regards, BencherliteTalk13:22, 2 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi,
I can adopt you.
Please feel free to ask me any question about Wikipedia and to ask for help.
One piece of advice: The design of your user page and your talk page is very unusual and it makes it hard to read them and use them. Please consider using something simpler. --Amir E. Aharoni14:55, 2 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
תודה רבה,Thanks a lot for accepting to adopt me. What do I do now so that it will show that you adopted me? Also, I do not see anything wrong with the design of my userpage. I just know (you can see the previous discussion)that there is something wrong with my page because you cannot edit it and there is no category.--Idontknow61015:24, 2 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Well, if you cannot edit your userpage, then something is wrong with it :)
I commented out the problematic parts of your userpage using <!-- and -->. Review those parts carefully and un-comment only the things that you really need. In general, you should avoid such radical changes to the style of the userpage, because it makes using it very hard.
I meant that no one could edit my page except me, which is quite unusual, i agree. Well, i think tht you only commented on my talk page, am i right?
Congratulations!
Congratulations on your recent adoption, Idontknow610, and welcome to Wikipedia! I saw that you have expressed an interest in being adopted by an experienced editor. Being an experienced editor myself, I accepted your request. Whether you want to learn about wiki markup, find something to do, or just talk to somebody, I'm the person to see about it - just leave a message on my talk page. Remember, I am willing to help you and make your time here more enjoyable. Feel free to ask me any questions you might have, and remember to "be BOLD!"- I'm here to help you; no question is a stupid one. In the mean time, here are some pages that you might find helpful, in case you haven't already gotten the official welcoming:
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome and congratulations!
You're welcome. I thought you were adopted, but the userbox on your page said you were still adopting so I wasn't sure. :P Thanks anyway, ~ BellaSwan22:58, 3 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Well, I actually like teams from the European League, such as Maccabi Tel-Aviv. Well, I appreciate signing pages, yours is quite cool. Do you like basketball? Idontknow610 (WANNATALK??)
Well, I do not really play soccer well, but all the Brazilian kids do:-). I mean, soccer is one of the simbols of Brazil, aint it? 15:39, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the happy first edit day wishes! :) Oh my, don't believe it's been a year already. Well, you know what they say - time flies when you're having fun! PeaceNT (talk) 12:42, 10 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
I mean that copyrighted imagery is not permitted to be used on your userpage. For example, the Hogwarts school crests and the Google logo. You can't use them on anything but articles. Sorry. --Hammersoft (talk) 01:57, 18 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello. While we appreciate that you seem to be enjoying yourself, it's of concern that you appear to be mainly using Wikipedia for social networking activities rather than improving encyclopedia articles. Please understand that Wikipedia is not a blog, webspace provider, or social networking site. If you continue your activities in this fashion, you may be subject to censure from the community. You may find yourself blocked or your user page and user spaces deleted if you do not start contributing positively to the encyclopedia. Metros (talk) 18:05, 24 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Don't worry you guys. I am working hard now in creating and expanding new articles, mainly translating articles from Portuguese. You can see this here. -- Idontknow610 (WANNA SIGN??)

A tag has been placed on Wander Pires requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
It is not up to me to decide whether the article will actually be deleted or not. As the Portuguese Wikipedia does not have the same clientele as the English Wikipedia, the interpretation of what is notable may vary from administrators in one language to administrators in another. I also noticed that someone inserted cleanup tags on top of my deletion tag, so I guess there is hope. Actually, I withdrew my speedy deletion tag and left the long-term notability concern tag that was inserted by that other editor, and it may take a while before deletion is considered again. I must admit that this case is very borderline: I've never heard of someone beconing encyclopedia-notable as an interpreter. --Blanchardb-Me•MyEars•MyMouth-timed 14:16, 2 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Different language versions of Wikipedia may have different notability standards. Just because an article is deemed acceptable by a foreign language version of WP doesn't mean it's acceptable here. This article was about a musician and the article didn't assert anything that would come close to meeting the WP:MUSIC notability guidelines. -- Dougie WII (talk) 17:50, 3 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for uploading Image:Dudunobre.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

Thanks for uploading Image:Dudu nobre.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

Hi,
You uploaded an image of Dudu Nobre - Image:Dudu nobre.jpg. You provided a source for the image, which is very good, but you should properly note the copyright status of the image. I didn't check the details myself, but most probably it is a copyrighted image, which is not released under a free license such as GFDL or Creative Commons. For such cases you may tag the image as "fair use". Read Wikipedia:Non-free content (shortcut: WP:FAIR) to see whether this is appropriate. If it is, please follow the instructions there to tag the image.
Wikipedia's policy on "fair use" is getting stricter as time passes, which is ultimately a good thing, because restrictive copyright and "fair use" go against the spirit of free content, which is a core policy of Wikipedia. Therefore, you should be very meticulous about it when you are uploading images. Images which are not tagged properly will be deleted after some time.
To summarize: The first thing you need to do is to read the copyright notice on the website where you took the image. If it's the regular type of copyright, see Wikipedia:Non-free content.
Does it say anywhere explicitly that the site does not limit a person's reproduction of anything contained in the site? If a site doesn't say that explicitly, you cannot assume it. See Wikipedia:Copyrights: "All works are copyrighted unless either they fall into the public domain or their copyright is explicitly disclaimed."
Unfortunately, if we don't have an explicit permission, we must assume that an image is copyrighted and not free.
The answer is in Wikipedia:Copyrights in the section "Implementation and enforcement".
It may seem long and bureaucratic, but unfortunately that's how copyrighted images work. Actually that's why we don't like them in the first place :) --Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 14:12, 21 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading Image:Guarapiranga 1.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Guaraipiranga.jpg. The copy called Image:Guaraipiranga.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Well I do have both my userpage, and talk page on my watchlist. But I will be glad to help you with your design on your userpage if you want too. Thank you for noticing my hard work on my userpages that I designed. Cheers! KingLopezContribs07:44, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
