Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "IP-93.183.236.121", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it can be misleading. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. Arctic Kangaroo 08:16, 9 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I agree. Not the best user name and yes, it may be misleading. But let me explain why I have chosen it. I started editing List of fastest production cars before I have created Wiki account. I didn't think back then that my involvement will be significant. I don't have much free time and I just though I do some editing clarifying thing or two. I was ok with my IP to be used for signature. However, it ended up with me taking part in numerous discussion on the topic and it was a good idea for others to know who they are talking with. But my IP had changed. One editor had complained about it on the talk. So I have decided to register an account and to make my name consistent with my previous signature (my old IP) I have used it for my user name.
I must confess that I was not thinking about other possible complications. But I agree to change my user name if you think it's a good idea.
Thank you. IP-93.183.236.121 (talk) 18:36, 10 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on List of fastest production cars. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 22:05, 7 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi. I have placed a summary of the question to consider at the bottom of this section. Take a look at it and feel free to modify what I have written to make sure it captures what we are trying to gain consensus on. Should we reference this discussion on the two other pages talk sections? Thanks for your considered approach. NealeFamily (talk) 20:22, 10 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
