Hello, I'm TornadoLGS. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Hurricane Ian, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. TornadoLGS (talk) 21:47, 10 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

how do I add a reference Hurricane Allen (talk) 21:52, 10 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Please see WP:CITE for how to add a reference. Please note, though, that the listed intensities are based on official data (which would be from the National Hurricane Center for Atlantic storms). So the listed intensity of the storm would only be changed if there is a statement from the National Hurricane Center, most likely the Tropical Cyclone Report, but that has not yet been released. TornadoLGS (talk) 22:34, 10 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
ok, but I changed everything back to normal, because I had a feeling that something bad would happen Hurricane Allen (talk) 02:08, 11 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
You did partially revert. Someone would have reverted if you hadn't. Possible negative consequences, such as a block, would only come if you persisted in adding unsourced content or other disruption. TornadoLGS (talk) 04:53, 11 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Hurricane Iota, you may be blocked from editing. TornadoLGS (talk) 23:06, 11 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

awww caserole! OK OK OK!!! FINE!!!! I SHALL STOP THEN!!!! Hurricane Allen (talk) 23:18, 11 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
I am sorry :-( I just wanted Iota to be a category 5 again, and I was going to do it also with Carla, but until t read your message Hurricane Allen (talk) 23:25, 11 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Okay, why were you making these changes without sources? TornadoLGS (talk) 23:26, 11 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Just an extra comment, if you are wanting to make changes for a screenshot, copy/paste an article in your sandbox. If you are not doing it for a fun screenshot, then TornadoLGS has a valid question about why you are doing this. Elijahandskip (talk) 23:30, 11 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Elijahandskip: that might actually be a violation of WP:HOAX. If this this person wants to have fun with fictionalized versions of storms, they can go to the Hypothetical Hurricanes Wiki. TornadoLGS (talk) 23:35, 11 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
I struck previous comment. TornadoLGS is correct. Elijahandskip (talk) 23:46, 11 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
because I am very new at editing, so I do not know how to add a source Hurricane Allen (talk) 00:07, 12 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Hurricane Allen: Here is how you can learn to cite sources: Help:Referencing for beginners#RefToolbar. I hope that helps! If you have any questions, feel free to ask! Elijahandskip (talk) 00:13, 12 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to 2022 Atlantic hurricane season. Your edits could be interpreted as vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use your sandbox. Thank you. CycloneYoris talk! 20:44, 16 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

  • Likewise, this edit to 1998 Atlantic hurricane season is at best unexplained and at worst intentionally disruptive. —C.Fred (talk) 21:05, 16 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
But 14 named storms is average, and 1998 had 14 named storms, so it was average! YOU KNUCKLEHEAD! Hurricane Allen (talk) 01:38, 17 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hey–please keep in mind of WP:NPA, especially YOU KNUCKLEHEAD!. This probably violates NPA as a personal attack to other editors. And my friend :-) Tails Wx 18:22, 17 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
BUT! THE 19998 SEASON HAD 14 NAMED STORMS, AND 14 NAMED STORMS IS AVERAGE! AND THE 2022 SEASON HAD 14 NAMED STORMS, SO IT WAS AVERAGE! Hurricane Allen (talk) 22:57, 17 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
How about, instead, take C.Fred's advice and get a consensus? Yes, it does look average, but you need consensus in order to change. Tails Wx 23:00, 17 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
Also, please stop doing edits like this. The template does not have this parameter, and transition to an extratropical cyclone is not the same as becoming a remnant low. TornadoLGS (talk) 19:53, 18 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
AWWEE GREAT!! I HATE IT! HATE HATE HATE HATE IT! Hurricane Allen (talk) 21:36, 18 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
I MAY HAVE BEEN BLOCKED FROM EDITING! BUT I CAN STILL REVERT! YOU IDIOT Hurricane Allen (talk) 22:53, 18 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
