December 2019Edit

Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. Ifnord (talk) 16:16, 9 December 2019 (UTC)

Reverting my editEdit

They were featured on News 12 networks! http://newjersey.news12.com/clip/14991849/jersey-proud-elementary-school-students-hold-pediatric-cancer-fundraiser

Thank you for asking me about an edit I reverted. Being featured on the local news does not always qualify to be mentioned on Wikipedia. My school has been on our local news 5 times in the last year, and non are mentioned on Wikipedia. If you can find a mention of the school on at least 2 news sites, then you should add it to Wikipedia. Hopefully this helps. Also make an account. Elijahandskip (talk) 13:49, 24 January 2020 (UTC)
Well, it is local but Channel 12 new jersey is for the entire state of New Jersey. Not just exclusive to Weehawken!
My school was mentioned by the local station, a Fox News station, but no other station mentioned the school, so it needed to stay off Wikipedia.Elijahandskip (talk) 13:53, 24 January 2020 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of 2019 Lilbourn, Missouri EarthquakeEdit

The article 2019 Lilbourn, Missouri Earthquake has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:NOTNEWS. Very minor earthquake, felt by less than 100 people. Worldwide, some 100,000 earthquakes per year are felt by people (many more are only detected by instruments of course). If this site is to be believed, similar earthquakes happened relatively close to Lilbourne 10 times the last two years[1], and Google news also indicates that this is a recurring, minor, local thing.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Current events good faith suggestion ^_^Edit

Hi my friend. I must start by thanking you for your contributions to the Current Events portal. I just wanted to let you know three things that I've learned through the time:

1) Always remember present tense when writing a news piece. 2) Numbers between 1 and 10 are written in letters and more than 10 in numbers. 3) The portal is global and doesn't focus on any particular country's importance.

It's all in good faith :-), as I've learned, I wanted to let you know these things as I think you're an excellent contributor to the Portal. ^_^- Regards. --CoryGlee (talk) 14:29, 7 February 2020 (UTC)
