Infobox image and logo sizes

edit

Hi. Please do not set infobox logos and images to a fixed size. Unspecified size is preferred, as that makes it use the per-user preferences, so that everyone gets the size they like. You can set your preferred size at Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-rendering, it's the "Thumbnail size" option. Thanks. Murph9000 (talk) 19:58, 20 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Millennials, did not appear constructive and has been undone. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you.   Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that in this edit to Ozzy & Drix, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 03:29, 5 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. --DynaGirl (talk) 21:33, 7 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Again, only mark your edits as "minor" if they are genuinely WP:MINOR. Thanks. --McGeddon (talk) 08:19, 8 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Fragile (Yes album), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Roger Dean. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:15, 6 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, as you did at Moving Pictures (Rush album), you may be blocked from editing. Mlpearc Phone (open channel) 23:43, 12 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

You seem to be either not reading or ignoring your talk page. Whatever the case may be, you will be blocked from editing if you continue to change musical genres without sources or discussion, marking significant changes as minor edits, etc. If you are having difficulties understanding, please discuss the issue either here or on article talk pages. - SummerPhDv2.0 01:06, 13 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

You are suspected of sock puppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then, if you wish to do so, respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Phil A. Fry. Thank you. --DynaGirl (talk) 18:28, 3 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

edit

Hello, HolUp. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
