Welcome!

Hello, Hirohisat, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} after the question on your talk page. Again, welcome!

Miyamaki Station

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Miyamaki Station, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.  The Hooded One  ♠  00:23, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

FYI, I have removed the PROD tag, as the station is one of a number of stations covered by the Trains in Japan project. If you are interested in signing up for the project, go ahead and add your name on that page. Neier 04:11, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

New station articles

Thanks for creating so many new articles on the Kintetsu lines. We have tried to make most of the other station articles on Wikipedia to follow a certain style. See Wikipedia:WikiProject Trains in Japan/Station Stub for an idea of what this looks like. If possible, could you try to keep that style in mind when creating any more new articles?

Also, I noticed you removed the macrons from {{Kintetsu Kashihara Line}}. You've probably also noticed that I've moved some of your articles already. The trains project (and the Manual of Style for Japanese articles) prefers the macronization as listed on the station signs, the website, etc. There is Help:Macrons if you want to learn how to input the ō and ū characters on your computer. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions. Neier 23:42, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

Thanks Neier. I put my self on the wikiproject as well. Hirohisat 06:16, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to WikiProject Trains

Hello and welcome to the Trains WikiProject! Thank you for adding your name to our project membership list. Our goal is to build the most comprehensive and detailed guide to rail transport on Wikipedia. As a project member, you may add the project membership userbox to your user page if you wish.

If you haven't done so already, please add our main project page to your watchlist and take some time to review the Trains project manual of style where we have collected guidelines and suggestions on notability and style for a consistent representation of rail transport related material. If you're curious about where to start, we've gathered a few suggestions in the Trains project to do list. If you'd like to specialize in a particular area of study within rail transport, take a look at the current Trains project task forces.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask on the project talk page or on my talk page. Again, welcome and happy editing! Slambo (Speak) 10:59, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

Adoption

Hello there, Hirohisat. I'm The Random Editor. I noticed you are interested in being adopted. If that is still the case, I would be glad to. I have close to 2100 edit. So, If you want me to adopt you, leave me a message here. Even if you don't want me to, I'm always up to answering a question. Cheers. --Random Say it here! 00:10, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

Glad to hear that. If you haven't already then add the following {{Adoptee|The Random Editor}} somewhere on your userpage. If you inform me when you will be on tommorrow, we can then get to work on your training. --Random Say it here! 02:32, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
In Florida. Remember to sign your comments with ~~~~ and we carrying on a general discussion to keep comments in one discussion. Inform me when you get on Saturday, and we will get to work. --Random Say it here! 02:39, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
Notice that you are on wikipedia. Well it appears to me that you really don't need to be adopted. However, since you want me to, here is a assignment. Assuming your using the monobook.js setting, I want you to go to the following page User:Hirohisat/monobook.js. Add the script below.
// [[User:Lupin/popups.js]]
importScript('User:Lupin/popups.js');
Save the page and then bypass your cache. Now when you highlight an internal link it will popup. This makes vandal fighting easier. Then I want you to read WP:5P, WP:WARN, WP:REVERT, & WP:CANVAS. Once you have done that, leave me a message. --Тλε Rαnδоm Eδιτоr 18:16, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
I'm pleased that you have completed your assignment. As to your question about canvassing. A good example, is requesting that someone votes support to something. Basically it is campaigning. Your next assignment is to read WP:VANDAL. Once you have completed, that I want you to revert some vandalism. Apply what you have learned in WP:VANDAL, WP:REVERT, and WP:WARN, to properply find vandalism, revert it, and warn the user appropriatly.
I will provide below a step by step step to reverting vandalism.
  1. I want you to click the "Recent changes."
  2. This will provide you with a list of recent edits to wikipedia. To update the list click the "go" button at the top of the page.
  3. I want you to hold your mouse over the "(diff)" button next to an edit. This will show you what changed. Applying what you learned at WP:VAND, I want you to identify vandalism.
  4. If you identify vandalism click the "(hist)" button beside the change that is vandalism.
  5. You will be brought to a list of the edits to the article that was vandalised.
  6. Now I want you to move over the date of the last edit that was not vandalism. A little popup of the previous version of the article will appear.
  7. While still on the popup click the "rv" button. That will revert the vandalism to the last legit version.
  8. Now go back to the history of the page, by clicking the history button at the top of the page.
  9. Then click the "(talk)" button by the person who caused the vandalism name. If it is red, then that means there talk is empty. If blue, it already has comments.
  10. Now if it is red I want you to click the link and type the following.
==May 2007==
{{subst:uw-vand1|Example|--~~~~}}
Replacing example with the name of the article you reverted. Add a edit summary like Warned IP Address or Warned User depending on whether or not it is a user or a ip.
  1. Finally inform me of the article that you reverted and I will check your work.
I know this is a lot, but learning is hard. Keep up your hard work. :) --Tλε Rαnδоm Eδιτоr 02:09, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
Great job. Remember to warn the person who created the vandalism. Have no fears though, someone did it for you there. For your next assignment. Just keep doing what you are doing reverting vandalism, and creating articles. Try to revert about ten cases of vandalism a day. --Tλε Rαnδоm Eδιτоr 20:20, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

Assignment

Hello, there Hirohisat. I have reviewed your edits and you are looking good. For your next assignment I want you to participate in a deletion discussion. Go to WP:AFD#Current discussions, and click the latest date. Find a article that you believe should be deleted and edit the section. Before you do that though, I want you to read WP:N. The particular article that you think should be deleted, I want to be a violation of WP:N. Send me the link for the discussion once you have completed the assignment. Remember, when your opinion is that an article should be deleted, edit the discussion so your comment looks like

'''Delete''' - Reason --~~~~

--Tλε Rαnδоm Eδιτоr 20:16, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

Very good. Well, for your next assignment remain vandal fighting, creating articles, and being invovled in deletion discussions. Also go to WP:RFA. This is a page were people who have been nominated for adminship are listed. Find a user who you think would be a good editor and vote for him/her. To vote click the page of the rfa and edit it putting your opinion under support so it looks like the
# '''Support''' - reason ~~~~
Leave me the name of the page once complete. --Tλε Rαnδоm Eδιτоr 19:26, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Sorry, I have been so busy. Great work so far. Continue what you are doing. Also remember to have fun. --Tλε Rαnδom Eδιτor (ταlκ) 00:16, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

Misunderstanding

you reverted my revert as unconstruction, yet if you check you find that mikelfikel is constantly try to push a personal POV that is no way reflected in the book, Armagh is in Northern Ireland, and other than references to Ireland which could be the geographic rather than political reference there is no mention specifically of the south.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.26.111.21 (talkcontribs)

World war z

Excuse me but what pop ups did I place on world war z.I merely updated the wiki to correct stance.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Mikel-Fikel 82 (talkcontribs)

Thank you X 100

Thank you very much for supporting my RfA, which closed successfully yesterday... W00t! I hope to be a great admin (and editor) and I'm sure you can tell that my use of a large, boldfaced, capital "T" and a big checkmark image in this generic "thank you" template that I swiped from some other user's Talk Page that I totally mean business! If you need anything in the future or if you see that I've done something incorrectly, please come to my Talk Page and let me know. So now I've got a bunch of reading to do.... see you around! - eo 13:30, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

Welcome messages

Just a note, you might want to look at a user's contributions before putting a welcome message on their talk page. You recently welcomed User:JGreenCPNC, whose one contribution at the time of welcome was blatant advertising (diff). A warning would be more appropriate than a welcome, in my humble opinion. Your signature

The following is just a suggestion, and you are not forced to do anything: your signature is very hard to read. It is very small and in a near-illegible font. Top help people know who you are, it might be an idea to modify or completely change it. Regards, Anonymous DissidentTalk 03:54, 30 June 2007 (UTC)

Please do not apologize. And I'm not concerned. It was just a tip, but I'm glad that you've decided to modify your signature. Have a nice day, Anonymous DissidentTalk 04:20, 30 June 2007 (UTC)

Question

Hi, I was thinking of looking through the new pages, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to put on the creator's talk page if I request their page for speedy deletion. Think you can help me out? Peace. Spartan-James 02:16, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

Sorry

Hey man I just wanted to say that I'm sorry America dropped the A-bomb on your homeland.

I blocked for a day ... given that there are no prior blocks and it's an IP, let's see what happens. The vandal may not be the only user. Daniel Case 06:37, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

My RfA

Thank you for your comments in my recent RfA. However, it was unsuccessful. I am in no way disheartened, and I am working on all the constructive critisism I have received. If you have any further suggestions or comments, feel free to drop me a line on my talk page, and I will be happy to respond. Matt/TheFearow (Talk) (Contribs) (Bot) 04:38, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
