WikiProject Cryptocurrency edit

Hello Hidden Lemon, I'm messaging you because you are one of the few who are still active editors participating in WikiProject Cryptocurrency. Anyways, I did some changes to the project page. You can see the details @Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Cryptocurrency#Project_page, thanks. Jerm (talk) 19:43, 19 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Appreciate the notice and the work on the WikiProject page! HiddenLemon // talk 18:42, 20 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your Feedback Regarding my edit history edit

Hey Hidden Lemon. Nice to meet you.

Thanks for the feedback. I do believe that there are a lot of prejudice "against" Hedera Hashgraph in Wikipedia that needs fixing. I do believe it is because Hedera doesn't fit the stereotypical Blockchain network and I also believe it is because people just don't understand how revolutionary this 3rd generation DLT tech is YET, but that is my opinion.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Cryptocurrency#Hedera_Hashgraph - Would you be able (without prejudice) to help with this request?

The reason I am asking is because I openly recognize my prejudice in favor of Hedera Hashgraph and I would be unable, as you have pointed out.

If you do a small amount of Due Diligence yourself on Hedera Hashgraph, I really think you will be able to see the prejudice I am seeing.

Just an FYI, I don't work for, nor I am I associated in way, shape or form with Hedera Hashgraph besides being a Pro and active Distributed ledger Tech believer and I recognize what all the Fortune 500 companies on the HH Governing Council, including 2 of the top law firms (DLA Piper and Dentons) in the world have recognized that what Hedera has developed is revolutionary.

Even Libra recognized the HH governing council idea was revolutionary and stole their idea - https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/libra-controversy-hedera-thanks-facebook-100057919.html

It's time for the world to get away from using the term "Blockchain" in a generic sense on Wikipedia. All Blockchains are DLT's but not DLT's are Blockchains. Vicwd (talk) 21:07, 26 December 2020 (UTC)vicwdVicwd (talk) 21:07, 26 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Sorare and DCCG edit

Hi Hidden Lemon, thanks for the heads-up. See what I wrote please on the Sorare talk page. I like your comments on your profile ... yes the topic is complex and sharp differences of viewpoints, like between me and Leitmotiv that I mention on Sorare discussion. Good to have your input. Anyway I agree Sorare page needs editing at the very least and I need think about things over next few days. TGcoa (talk) 16:11, 2 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hey @TGcoa: thanks for leaving a message. I've actually just withdrawn my AfD nomination for Sorare, so no worries. The main issue seemed to be just a matter of notability rather than the content of the article itself. Since more reliable sources were presented in the discussion, it seemed that Sorare was notable enough and shouldn't be deleted. I would recommend going to that archived discussion page (linked here) and look at the other sources that were shared by me and others. They will probably useful for you if you're planning to keep editing the article further.

Best,

Discretionary sanctions alert edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Query about previous accounts edit

Hidden Lemon, have you had any other accounts on the English Wikipedia before? El_C 10:02, 6 February 2021 (UTC):Reply

No? What gives you the sense that I have? HiddenLemon // talk 11:12, 6 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
I'd rather not answer that at this time. El_C 11:13, 6 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

ANI is not ARCA edit

What are you doing? El_C 11:04, 6 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Look, I said I didn't have time to review the RfC closely as in closing it myself — I've reviewed it closely enough to agree with PR's assessment. Why does a user with ~300 edits need to bring about all this drama? What is going on here? El_C 11:09, 6 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

I didn't see your latest edit to the 2021 storming talk page till after I submitted the ANI. I'm also not really interested in having my closure be reinstated or anything like that honestly, so maybe ANI is the better venue for my issues anyways. I'm pretty much done here, anyone else who gets involved in the ANI can discuss and provide some clarity on my concerns but I never intended to be involved in that article so... I have no more drama to cause on my end :) HiddenLemon // talk 11:19, 6 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
Okay...? Despite multiple pings. Sure, I guess. And no more drama on your end, you say? Well, here's hoping. Regardless, I'm letting you know that all of this is coming across as super-weird to me. El_C 11:24, 6 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Stop reverting me on ANI, Hidden Lemon. If you want input about an WP:ACDS action I've taken, I'm asking you to do so before the Committee, because it is under its purview and it is its authority that I invoked. El_C 11:30, 6 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Deleting an ANI post regarding yourself is super-weird to me. I'm definitely fine with using ANI now since this is clearly a user-conduct issue at this point rather than a DS ArbCom or whatever thing. Like I said, I'm not interested in getting input about your authority or challenging the jurisdiction of the ACDS to get my way on the closure or whatever. I'm just wanting to let other admins know of the behavior I felt to be something they may or may not be interested in knowing about. So please, if you will not delete my post there for a 3rd time, I can then leave you alone. HiddenLemon // talk 11:40, 6 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
Hidden Lemon, I am an uninvolved admin who is currently looking into your editing. You can't wish me away, nor can you magically make me involved by starting an ANI post about me that's filled with distortions and attacks. It doesn't work like that. That said, I will let the AN post be, since you seem very determined about it. Oh well. El_C 12:09, 6 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
What is it you think you will find in my edit history? I'm honestly of no ulterior motive, you're a strange guy but maybe one day we'll bump into each other again and laugh about this... or something like that... until then I've nothing else to input given so much friction in doing so. Maybe assuming good faith will save you the trouble of parsing my edits. Best of luck patrolling the political trolls! (seriously i mean that, I'm not being sarcastic, I do appreciate that work) HiddenLemon // talk 12:42, 6 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
