Help me! edit

Please help me with... Just created a user page. If I put in the work to build my profile, and then ultimately there is a 'regular' wikipedia article created about me, can they be merged, or can the information be connected/shared (automatically)?

HenryMaxG (talk) 17:11, 23 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

No. Wikipedia is not social media. A user page is a place to write something about yourself as an editor of Wikipedia. If you meet Wikipedia's standards of notability and we will have an encyclopedia article about you, it will share very little content with a user page, if any, but rather summarize what reliable sources that are independent of you, such as newspapers or reputable magazines, have reported about you. Am I allowed to delete this question and help me section of my page if I am no longer in need of this issue? HenryMaxG (talk) 04:49, 19 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:ReJews edit

Hello, HenryMaxG. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "ReJews".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 11:17, 11 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

October 2021 edit

Hello, I'm JalenFolf. I noticed that you made a change to an article, The Blue Danube, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jalen Folf (talk) 05:39, 11 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

I've now again added the squid game reference to the blue danube page, with citations. Please don't start up again by trolling and reporting my other recent edits. I'm tagging @Liz for visibility. HenryMaxG (talk) 04:54, 19 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

I did source the article update, and it remains accepted. You trolled my organization and got the page removed. - HenryMaxG

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:ReJews edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:ReJews, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hello, HenryMaxG,
I saw your message posts around Wikipedia. I assure you that pages are not tagged for deletion for revenge or any other motive. Thousands of pages get evaluated and many get deleted every day. I'm sure if you look at the contributions of the editor who tagged your draft, you'll find they tagged a lot of other pages today as well.
You mention some good sources in your posts which are not included in your draft. You should add them and fill out the article if you want it to pass review with Articles for Creation and be accepted into the main space of the project. It is not yet in an acceptable state.
If you have questions about editing on Wikipedia, the deletion processes or anything else, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 20:05, 15 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Your thread has been archived edit

Hi HenryMaxG! The thread you created at the Wikipedia:Teahouse, The Wiki Squid Game Trolling Tournament Theme Song, has been archived because there was no discussion for a few days (usually at least two days, and sometimes four or more). You can still find the archived discussion here. If you have any additional questions that weren't answered then, please feel free to create a new thread.

The archival was done by Lowercase sigmabot III, and this notification was delivered by Muninnbot, both automated accounts. You can opt out of future notifications by placing {{bots|deny=Muninnbot}} here on your user talk page. Muninnbot (talk) 19:02, 18 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thank you to @Liz and @Elemimele for their insight about how this issue should have been handled. HenryMaxG (talk) 04:57, 19 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Are these threads on my user talk page permanent, or may I remove them by deleting the source? HenryMaxG (talk) 04:59, 19 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hello, HenryMaxG,
It's preferred that you start an archive for old user talk page messages. You can ask for help with this at the Teahouse. But if you don't want to learn about that, you can simply remove them from your user talk page. Liz Read! Talk! 05:19, 19 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
