Article probation on Political positions of Mitt Romney

Thank you for your contributions to the encyclopedia! In case you are not already aware, an article to which you have recently contributed, Political positions of Mitt Romney, is on article probation. A detailed description of the terms of article probation may be found at Wikipedia:General_sanctions/2012_Presidential_Campaign/Log. Also note that the terms of some article probations extend to related articles and their associated talk pages.

The above is a templated message. Please accept it as a routine friendly notice, not as a claim that there is any problem with your edits. Thank you. --v/r - TP 11:37, 17 September 2012 (UTC)

Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor

Re: quote by Gilmary M. Hostage III that ”the main source of the problems was not the hardware, but the "human physiology" of the pilots.” Was there ever a more damning self-indictment of a failure to design the system to support the man? Incredible. Martinevans123 (talk) 14:14, 27 September 2012 (UTC)

The real outrage in my eyes is the bringing in of the NASA human factors geeks now instead of way back during the design phase. I'd like the USAF a heck of a lot more if they saw their job as connecting to all the resources of our government (Army, NASA, NSA, CIA, Navy, AID, State, the states, etc.) and our allies instead of trying to fly it alone. Quite right. HF analysis so late in the day often appears like the application of a sticking plaster to a compound fracture. A full HF analysis belongs even at feasibiity and pre-feasibilty stages. The way humans breathe is a bit of a given, in the design of most vehicles, I would have thought. Martinevans123 (talk) 14:29, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
