Boxing titles edit

Greetings. With edits like this, I would ask you to please stop de-linking "Interim title", "Super title", etc. They are linked for a reason. Conversely, detailed links to a title's history – e.g., [[list of WBA world champions#Middleweight|WBA middleweight champion]] – only need to occur once. MOS:BOXING/TITLES has more on this. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 20:24, 27 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Again, please don't de-link the WBA's terminology. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 16:02, 26 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

RfC: location of Foxwoods Resort Casino (MOS:BOXING) edit

Greetings. There has been extensive discussion at Talk:WikiProject Boxing regarding the location of Foxwoods Resort Casino, and how it should be specified in MOS:BOXING. To form a consensus on this, your opinion as an active member of the Project is essential and highly welcome. The current discussion can be found here. Recent edit to Donnie Nietes edit

Hello, and thank you for your recent contribution. I appreciate the effort you made for our project, but unfortunately I had to undo your edit because I believe the article was better before you made that change. The main reason why I reverted is because some of the formatting messed up when you changed the article, it most likely was a mistake so no worries. Feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions. Thank you! Clarkcj12 (talk) 04:41, 3 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Brian Gaine edit

The article Brian Gaine has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Disambiguation link notification for January 18 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Gustavo Ballas, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mendoza (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:25, 18 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Sources edit

Please add your sources asap to Jung Bi-won, at the moment it's an unreferenced biography of a living person and so is likely to be tagged for deletion quickly. Thanks, Boleyn (talk) 10:17, 20 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

WBA cruiserweight title edit

Please explain why you keep adding the WBA Super title to the cruiserweight-related articles, considering they've stated that Dorticos was promoted from Regular to full champion, and Lebedev from Super champion to Recess. It's very clearly displayed on their most recent rankings from the past week: [1]. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 17:58, 4 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Greetings again, and sorry to bother you. You provided a good rationale for why Gassiev should be labelled as Super champion, but I'd like to bring up an issue regarding sources. The WBA's Twitter page did indeed mention "Cruiserweight Super Championship" prior to the fight, but afterwards proceeded to call him simply "Cruiserweight World Champion". Likewise, their current champions list only lists him as World champion; neither Super nor Regular. That's two sources for World title (post-fight) overruling one source for Super title (pre-fight). Therefore I believe we should change the articles back to how they were before your reverts, at least until they release a new rankings list in the coming weeks which may have an amended Super/Unified element. Otherwise we're risking perpetuating an inaccuracy. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 16:47, 6 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Fairs edit

Fair enough at least you explained, I still think Srisaket Sor Rungvisai should be separate tho. they're 2 separate titles at the end of the day my friend.

Edit: It's no big deal I guess lol. it can work both ways imo. I do ALOT of work on boxing pages and I need people like yourself that do good work as there are loads of trolls and generally stupid people who think there're helping while messing things up lmao.. keep it up dude.

Proposed deletion of Cristofer Rosales edit

Maurice Hooker edit

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. 80.235.147.186 (talk) 18:42, 11 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:Jung Bi-won edit

Hello, Hayabu5a. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Jung Bi-won".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Dolotta (talk) 16:26, 8 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
