Request reason:

Hello,

you think, that Judson012 has a second account, that's wrong. I met Mike Franklin in Baden-Baden during an event. He told me something about his life and I was very impressed. I asked him about an article in Wikipedia, but he told me, that he had never thought about an article. He is a very interesting person, with a lot of skills and expert knowledge. His life is very turbulent and he has helped a lot of famous people to feel safe and protected. This was the reason that I asked him, whether I can start an article about him and he answered "yes". We phoned twice, because I needed more information and a picture of him. He shared one in Wikimedia. And I bought his first book and read it. It was very impressively. Therefore I want him in Wikipedia, because he is a person, that deserves attention. I can't follow, why you asked, whether he is a notable person or not. He was a notable person for all the famous people he protected and I think, that they were glad to have him around them. Best regards Haverly

Decline reason:

Sorry, but even in the absence of checkuser evidence, the edit mentioned below contradicts your assertion; and the checkuser evidence is unambiguous. --jpgordon::==( o ) 16:04, 26 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hello Editors,

My name is Michael J. Franklin and I have stood back and dispassionately watched in horror what exchanges and communications that have taken place in an attempt to have the article “Michael J. Franklin (CPO)” entered into Wikipedia’s database. I thank you for your comments and observations. I have a problem that I would now like to tell you about. When the idea of the article inclusion was first suggested to me. I wasn’t in favor of it for many reasons. The people who wanted to submit the article don’t speak English as their mother tongue and I’m of the opinion that having anything added to the database is extremely difficult and complicated. I wasn’t prepared to have to defend myself from what appears to be happening. This isn’t directed at anyone in particular but is how I’m feeling at the moment.

To be more specific, there are more than 2 people working or have worked on the project, the first “judson012” a Mrs. Irmgard Walter and “Haverly999” Mrs. Maike Rogge, these are two separate and wonderful people whose intentions were in the right place. However, they experienced a myriad of problems by not really understanding the rules. The one editor’s comment that the two are the same person and a conflict of interest might exist…baffles them and quite frankly me as well. It seemed whatever they tried it backfired. The people working on this project are honest and forthright individuals. They are trying to add an article they feel is worthy and aren’t trying to sell anything. The facts that they have presented to date can be supported, although, they have discovered that attaching anything is hard. At the moment there seems to be a degree of resignation on their part. This saddens me. They were advised by you (the editors) that references were required. It made me feel good to know that they had to include at least one 3rd party independent source. They thought that they had…only to receive other confusing and frustrating comments on the “talk” page. They then added book references that met with the same confusing and frustrating comments. I find the above comments way over the top and therefore request that you delete this article at your first possible opportunity. It appears that there are other factors at work here. Many of the people I’ve protected have themselves stated reservations about Wikipedia and its practices. I now think that they may be right.

With kindest regards to you all Mike Franklin —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.81.178.23 (talk) 20:06, 26 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
