Request reason:

The proper symbol does not appear on this keyboard. I am using a Sprint wireless account whose IP address is shared by thousands of people in central Pennsylvania, including much of the student body of Pennsylvania State University. If you have been the victim of some sort of Penn State schoolboy prank, I assure you that I'm not at all involved. Harry Lives! (talk) 20:16, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

Decline reason:

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Please note that this was a checkuser block - see Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/GooseCreek. Furthermore, the IP addresses in question are not used by "thousands of people" - in fact, only two accounts (and one IP editor) have used them to-date. - Alison 20:35, 30 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Used by thousands of people, but only three of them edit here. Whatever happened to WP:AGF? Does that only protect editors of the proper political persuasion? Neutral Good (talk) 20:51, 30 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

AGF does not mean "put your head in the oven and assume the user won't press the ON/OFF button again". -- lucasbfr ho ho ho 20:55, 30 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

HarryLives!. Assuming that you are not a Sockpuppet I suggest that you give the Wikimedia Foundation a call and talk to them at 1-727-231-0101. Or, Jimbo Wales is the Chair and has published this contact phone number: 1-310-474-3223. But if you are sockpuppeting, I would suggest you try a different approach -- such as getting a different user name and trying again, following the rules. --Blue Tie (talk) 14:05, 1 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
