Welcome! edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Image on userpage edit

Hello, I have removed the image of Homer Simpson on your userpage, as non-free content is not allowed anywhere outside mainspace. Additionally, it appears you have made 1527 edits to your userpage and 1 article edit, which didn't anything and was disruptive. Please note that because of this, you may get blocked from editing. Thanks, Insulam Simia (talk) 13:01, 10 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Your userpage edit

I have deleted your userpage as a blatant hoax. Wikipedia is not a webhosting service; if you want to create a page about a fictitious band, please start your own website or consider one of the many alternate outlets available. It appears from your editing that you have no intention of contributing constructively to the encyclopedia; if this is the case, Wikipedia is probably not the best place for you. If you would like to make a positive contribution, then please by all means do so - the tutorial will give you the basics. Please note, however, that if you continue in your previous vein, you will be blocked from editing here altogether. Yunshui  12:58, 28 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Copying within Wikipedia edit

I appreciate that you seem to be making an attempt to use your userpage to draft an article. However, please note that you cannot simply copy text from elsewhere in Wikipedia and pass it off as your own; this constitutes a violation of the original author's copyright. Have a look through this policy page for more information. Yunshui  14:19, 28 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

August 2013 edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at User:Yunshui. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Writ Keeper (WK to move) 14:23, 28 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Harry (singer), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service, and which is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages: user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you can indicate why the page is not blatant advertising, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: Click here to contest this speedy deletion which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to your user talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also edit this page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would help make it encyclopedic. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. MM (Report findings) (Past espionage) 15:19, 28 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

October 2013 edit

Almost all of your editing is to your user page, and you show very little sign of intending to contribute to the encyclopaedia. Also, although some versions of your user page have looked like drafts for an article, you show no sign of actually intending to use them as such, and appear to be just using your talk page to hold article-like content unrelated to contributing to the encyclopaedia. If this is not so, and you do in fact intend to contribute, then it would be as well to make that clear very soon. Wikipedia is not a social network site or a free web host, and a user page is for providing a little information about the user ion question, in connection with their editing of the encyclopaedia, not for storing pages for personal use, unrelated to building the encyclopaedia. User pages used for inappropriate purposes may be deleted, and any user who does not seem to be here to contribute to the encyclopaedia may be blocked from editing.
