Not social media

Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, not social media. There are lots of places like Facebook, Twitter, and many more, where you can post about yourself. This isn't one of them. Here, the subject of an article must be shown to be notable {WP:BIO for people), and the notability must be referenced with reliable independent sources WP:RS. User pages are for people working on the encyclopedia to say a bit about themselves if they want, but they aren't for people who just want to write about themselves with no more work done here. OK?
