I am starting my first Wikipedia article and I am not sure I am doing it right. I created it under User: H Rockies and it is about Yamnuska Mountain Adventures - I am still editing it and have to verify a few things before moving it to Wikipedia.
Should I do anything different, re: edit it in another place? Should I try to add any images or can I leave it for other contributors?
Should I keep editing it under my user name? And how can I move it to Wikipedia?
Thanks! --H Rockies (talk) 22:49, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
- You should edit where ever you are comfortable editing it and add as much to it as possible. You are doing great. When you are ready to move it leave a message on my talk page and I will move it to the title you request. My talk is User_Talk:Joe_Gazz84 Joe Gazz84 (user)•(talk)•(contribs) 22:53, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
- Let me see if I understood what you said under Talk:Yamnuska Mountain Adventures: I deleted my own article? Is that right? I have a copy of it, can I re-do it? Sorry, but it is quite frustrating as it seems that it was my mistake!--H Rockies (talk) 18:09, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
- No, the article was moved to The Yamnuska Mountain Adventures that is where the article now is. I moved it for you to that location. You did nothing wrong. Joe Gazz84 (user)•(talk)•(contribs) 19:26, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you again. Happy to hear that. --H Rockies (talk) 19:41, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
