AfD nomination of List of songs in English labeled the worst ever

edit

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is List of songs in English labeled the worst ever. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of songs in English labeled the worst ever (5th nomination). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:18, 25 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Rock Creek (Nebraska)

edit

Hi,

Do your references for the Rock Creek article mention when the Rock Creek Post Office commenced?

While I can believe some of the settlers felt shunned due to language differences, it's tough to believe anyone was ever shunned in Beemer or Wisner because they were farmers as both towns main stay has been to support the agricultural activities. Also, I would think the group of settlers who concentrated around Rock Creek did so because of the Rock Creek (Lambrecht's) Mill. The mill was known for 100s of miles and likely created a few jobs.

Interview as source

edit

I've had to revert your additions of a citation to Rock Creek (Nebraska) and Wisner, Nebraska. If the interview with W. R. Blumer wasn't published, then it's original research, which isn't acceptable as a source. If the interview was published someplace, even in a brochure or a sesquicentennial booklet or the like, it's OK: but then we need information on the publication.

Please feel free to get in touch with me if you've got questions about this. Ammodramus (talk) 19:52, 12 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
