Sockpuppet investigation

Renaming accounts

Hello,

I see that you tried to rename your previous account, User:PaulGorduiz106, to GreatPaul64. In doing this you moved your userpage and then created a new account. If you want to use this account from now on, you will need to ensure that the connection is disclosed and clear. This is because Wikipedia has a policy against using multiple accounts inappropriately. By clearly linking these accounts and only using one account to now edit, you will be fine. You can do this in a number of ways:

• If you have lost access to the account PaulGorduiz106, then you can:
  • Continue to edit using this account, move User:PaulGorduiz106 to User:GreatPaul64 and place a note on PaulGorduiz106 explaining you have changed accounts because you lost access to that account.
• If you want to edit using this account and still have access to PaulGorduiz106:
  • Continue to edit using this account, move User:PaulGorduiz106 to User:GreatPaul64 and place a note on PaulGorduiz106 explaining this was your previous account. To ensure that the account is within policy, it it best that you don't edit using the account PaulGorduiz106 again.
