March 2017 edit

Hello, I'm Donner60. I noticed that in this edit to List of Christian Nobel laureates, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Donner60 (talk) 01:49, 25 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

I am striking this message because you have given a reasonable explanation for your edit. I can only speak for myself since I am a reviewer and rollbacker, but not an administrator. Others may question the accuracy of the removal. I have at times placed information on the talk page only to have no response. Many people do not think to look at these pages. One thing that may help is to refer to the talk page entry in the edit summary when making a further edit.
You may be familiar with the following pages but I thought I should mention that helpful information about editing Wikipedia can be found on various Wikipedia guideline and policy pages including: Help:Getting started; Wikipedia:Introduction; Wikipedia:Simplified ruleset; Wikipedia:Simplified Manual of Style; Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners; Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources; Wikipedia:Citing sources, Help:Footnotes; Wikipedia:Verifiability; Wikipedia:No original research; Wikipedia:Neutral point of view; Wikipedia:Notability; Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons; Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not; Wikipedia:Words to watch; Help:Introduction to talk pages; Wikipedia:Copyright Problems and Help:Contents. Thank you. Donner60 (talk) 02:05, 25 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for June 1 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of fictional scientists and engineers, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Alien (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:33, 1 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
