Speedy deletion nomination of Sean Burnette

edit

A tag has been placed on Sean Burnette requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Speedy deletion nomination of TicTalk

edit

A tag has been placed on TicTalk, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

United Express Flight 2415

edit

Hi, I noticed the United Express Flight 2415 article which you created. At the moment, it is at risk of being nominated for speedy deletion because there is nothing much to show that the accident is notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia. The relevant essay is WP:AIRCRASH. So far, the only slight indication of notability is that the accident was suffered by a scheduled carrier. Four people killed is not necessarily an indication of notability, although we do have articles on incidents where there were no fatalities. I created Hewa Bora Airways Flight 952 yesterday. Have a look at that, as it may give you some ideas to incorporate in expanding the article you created. {{Infobox aircraft occurrence}} is useful for getting the basic details in, from which you can add them to the article. Proposed deletion of United Express Flight 2415

edit

The article United Express Flight 2415 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Little or no coverage on this incident. Fails WP:EVENT

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. —  Abhishek  Talk 09:50, 9 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Incidents at Six Flags parks, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. This incident has two problems. First, there is no source provided. Second, even if there was, this isn't really notable enough for inclusion. -- McDoobAU93 05:03, 5 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

It seems the problem is that no sources were cited in your version of the article. I wrote a new one at Elaine Campione which does cite sources. WhisperToMe (talk) 18:28, 7 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
