I do feel a little silly for posting the above - you've already found your way to the Teahouse, but they're still some helpful pages you can use.

I did see that your first post was regarding counter-vandal academy. I would say that you'll up your chances for someone taking you on if you get a little practice (reduces the fears that you might just disappear half way through).
