Good Afternoon Glasscity09

I am an intern for the corporate communications team at Owens-Illinois. We have somewhat recently redesigned our logo, and would appreciate it if you would replace the exisiting blue and red logo on our Wikipedia page with our new gray logo displayed on our website.

Thank you very much. — Preceding unsigned comment added by O-I Corporate Comm (talkcontribs) 16:03, 3 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Image copyright problem with File:Toledo Free Press logo.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Toledo Free Press logo.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 01:58, 31 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

New Wiki Article edit

{{helpme}}

I would like feedback and help on my first real article.

I created a basic article for Lake Erie Transit, which operates in SE Michigan. Saw that Toledo's TARTA has an article, and read some green features being added by LET, so thought it was notable. Plus, it's also the only bus service for the county.

Link to the page is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Glasscity09/Lake_Erie_Transit

Would appreciate any feedback on its notability and help with footnotes/references. Have them but their not showing up in the main article. Thanks.

Greetings, Glasscity09. The article looks very well, good enough to move to mainspace I would say. I have added the template {{reflist}} to the article, which displays all references above it (and have made some other minor changes). To get comprehensive feedback, you could try posting at Requests for feedback, as the helpme tool is used for quick responses. Regards,  Skomorokh  16:41, 10 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sockpuppetry case edit

Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Glasscity09 for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. Orlady (talk) 20:30, 2 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

You likely will be relieved to know that it looks like your name has been cleared through the checkuser investigation. However, some of the other accounts have been determined to be sockpuppets, apparently of a previously banned user. You may have noticed from my comments that your name was on the case for the sole reason that you were the longest-registered user in the group. I don't know whether the case will be kept under your name or if it will be renamed. --Orlady (talk) 19:51, 3 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
I guess this is a lesson learned. It doesn't matter what still stays with this account. I'll go back to my tidbit editing and periodic hand at articles; and stay away from big topics. As you can see, my skills at using the Wiki language need some help. For once, I used some journalistic skills, dig into a topic -- and this is what happens. Wiki is a fun diversion, but this episode is BS. I can see why newspapers, at least those that are credible, don't use Wikipedia as a source. Take care. >Mike --Glasscity09 (talk) 21:14, 3 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

RS noticeboard edit

I've brought up the issue on using archived pages from the Oregon database at the RS Noticeboard. Cla68 (talk) 23:18, 7 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

File:O-i logo.jpg listed for discussion edit

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:O-i logo.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for discussion. Please see the discussion to see why it has been listed (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry). Feel free to add your opinion on the matter below the nomination. Thank you. User:GKFXtalk 18:15, 31 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

I've uploaded a very similar PNG (File:Owens-Illinois_logo.png) version so I've put the old JPEG up for discussion as it's non-free and no longer in use on its original article. User:GKFXtalk 18:15, 31 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
