Commercial use of Image:ToF+DD -D10.jpg edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:ToF+DD -D10.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:ToF+DD -D10.jpg is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only" or "used with permission for use on Wikipedia only" which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3).

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:ToF+DD -D10.jpg itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. If you have any questions about what to do next or why your image was nominated for speedy deletion please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thanks. --Android Mouse Bot 2 03:35, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Duplicate images uploaded edit

Thanks for uploading Image:ToF+DD D10.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:ToF+DD -D10.jpg. The copy called Image:ToF+DD -D10.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 04:03, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

RE: WP:AIV report edit

Hi there! I removed your report to AIV because those two editors are not vandalizing; rather, it seems you have stumbled upon a content dispute. Please avoid edit warring and instead discuss the matter on the talk page of that article to develop consensus with the other two editors. Thanks, Master of Puppets Call me MoP! 04:36, 24 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Edit summaries edit

If possible, could you use slightly more informative edit summaries? "Addition" tells other editors nothing about what was added or changed :) Thanks! -- SatyrTN (talk / contribs) 17:02, 4 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi did you take this pic?Genisock2 (talk) 12:00, 9 April 2008 (UTC) Yes, I was at the location. The shoot was done at "Villa Fontani" in the San Fernando Valley near Los Angeles. There was the photographer Henning and a quite big team of assistants around. This is a snapshot in a break.Reply

Image copyright problem with Image:Salome-DSC06326a.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Salome-DSC06326a.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 15:06, 17 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Today, an email with the correct agreement has been sent to Permissions-en@wikimedia.org. The photographer has allowed the completely free use. Germany2799

File permission problem with File:ToF+DD D10.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:ToF+DD D10.jpg, which you've sourced to Henning von Berg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 02:10, 17 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

August 2013 edit

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Arthur J Collingsworth may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s and 1 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 05:36, 11 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
