- Hi George - I have just reverted a major deletion that you completed at History of Wagga Wagga. Not sure what your intentions were but I am assuming on good faith that you either have a plan or it was a mistake. Please can you use the edit summary system to let other editors know as to what you are doing. Indeed if you go to the My Preferences tab at the top of your page you can adjust your personal system so that you will be prompted on each occasion that you forget to put in an edit summary. Hi again GeorgeVM - this article is likely to qualify for your first Did you know for which you get a special award - and of course you get the added benefit of having it listed on the Main Page (and thereby get numerous other editors to put in their 2 cents worth). - Okay I'd be happy to help by nominating it for you - please can you provide me with a "hook" which is defined as a short and concise sentence of fewer than about 200 characters, including spaces - which will give readers coming to the main page a reason to click on the article. Mary Gilmore and the History of Wagga Wagga edit
Hi George and great work on the article so far. I have been watching your work on Cootamundra for a little while and I am pleased to see you start on Wagga.
Can I make a suggestion on the above article? The content is fine, but as a big slab of text it could use breaking up into sections. If you can think of some appropriate section headings and add them, it would improve the readability of the article.

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button

- Hi - welcome from me too - I have a bit of an interest in this part of the country. I really liked this article - congratulations and thanks for an interesting addition! Dame Mary Gilmore is perhaps a bit of an enigma - she is well honoured in Australia but I guess for me it is always a bit of a mystery as to why - what was it about her for which she came to be so highly regarded in her time and why hasn't that translated into a legacy that is understood today (at least by me but perhaps by many others who only know her name and no more). I have tried some of her poems and I don't get it entirely. Some years ago I visited Ariah Park and the locals knew little of her there despite one of the major roads tot he town being recently renamed in her honour.
