April 2021 edit

Hello, I'm Vif12vf. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Islamic Salvation Front, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 16:43, 16 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Welcome! edit

Hello, GeorgeMemeulous, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to The Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need personal help ask me on my talk page, or ask a question on your talk page. Again, welcome.  CommanderWaterford (talk) 17:05, 16 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Note edit

Please refrain from making edits like this and this which you just made. Just in case you have still not noticed, there was a RfC on the talk page not long ago concerning this, so edits such as what you just made will be reverted, and continuation will be considered as disruptive. Kind regards. Mellk (talk) 20:16, 22 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Ok

August 2021 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did at EOKA B, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. FDW777 (talk) 15:02, 8 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

References in infoboxes (WP:INFOBOXREF) edit

The goal is to mention and cite information well in the article's body paragraphs, so that the infobox can act as just a cross reference and not supplant the article's body as the main source of content. In other words, you do not have to add citations to the infobox, and if you do (which is good, to be clear) it would be better if you added them to sentences mentioning the same fact in the article's body paragraphs instead (or add these sentences if none already exist). Cheers, CentreLeftRight 18:44, 27 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Oh sorry. I added the sources because I would add things to the infobox and the source would be in the page, but my edits would then be removed, so I decided to add the sources to, in a way, back them up - George Memeulous

Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:04, 23 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
