Can you put a temporary protection – again – to the articles Kirovabad pogrom, Armenians in Nakhchivan, Armenians in Baku and Armenians in Azerbaijan, as you did more than a week ago due to persistent edit warring?
Can you put a temporary protection – again – to the articles Kirovabad pogrom, Armenians in Nakhchivan, Armenians in Baku and Armenians in Azerbaijan, as you did more than a week ago due to persistent edit warring?
The persistent vandalism and edit warring going on between IP users has erupted again, only days after these articles were unprotected. Temporary protection is necessary.
The issue is the same map, which apart from POV and orthographic mistakes, has copyright issues A neutral academic (i.e. non-Azerbaijani and non-Armenian) map is the solution.
Thanks.

- I've put full protection on Armenians in Azerbaijan as that's the one that needs it at the moment. The others are OK so far but let me know or report to WP:RPP if they need protection too. GedUK 12:32, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
Edit warring at Armenians in Azerbaijan
"Proudbolsahye" (and the other names and IPs that the same user may have used, IMO) is the only edit warrior there. "Proud" users have to be monitored more closely for nationalist POV imposition. I believe this user has to be given a short-medium period block to reconsider their participation in WP. All the best. --E4024 (talk) 12:58, 3 December 2012 (UTC)

Football records in Spain
Hello, I use to update Football records in Spain every week as the matches end. I edit the number of games and goals scored in the section Individual Records. I don't want to take part in any controversial matters, just update the stats as I have done for the past three years. Thank you very much Wikipeix (talk) 01:42, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
- It's unfortunate, and I'm sorry that you can't edit, but the edit war (which you're not part of) needs to be resolved. GedUK 07:50, 18 December 2012 (UTC)

Sorry to come back to you on this, but things are getting a bit crazy over there now - at least three different IPs are reverting/edit warring and repeatedly removing the AFD notice. I've reported the first two IPs as you recommended, but I think page protection is definitely needed now. Mabalu (talk) 14:04, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
- Wow, that was quick - it's been protected already by another user. Thanks for the tip! Mabalu (talk) 14:11, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
- Heh, no problem! It's unfortunate that so many people think if you delete the tag, the discussion won't happen. All it means is that fewer interested parties will find out about it. GedUK 12:44, 19 December 2012 (UTC)
