Status and Advice

As reviewing administrator, I deleted the article. You seem to have taken the description of a job at a particular company, and tried to make it into a general article about that type of position, But a Wikipedia article can not be copied from a pre-existing publication or web site -- first it's a copyright violation, but, even if you own the copyright and are willing to give us permission according to WP:DCM, the tone will not be encyclopedic and the material will not be suitable.

I'm not sure an article can be written on this precise subject--it seems like an overly narrow description for a particular business situation. Butthee are many related articles we could use, and you might want to write articles on them . I do not want to discourage you, but to urge you to help us by improving our coverage on topics in your area. When you do write these articles,I have two key points of advice:
1/ do not copy from a web site; rewrite the information from scratch
2/ put in a reference to a published source at the very first edit. This is particularly important for articles about living people, which will be deleted if there are no references.

Hello, I've basically undone your edit at [[1946 Pilbara strike. A Canadian guy born in 1957 could not possibly have been involved in it. Graham87 14:47, 18 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
