A goat for you!
editThank you for fixing the Christmas article. I had not seen the earlier date format changes and did not mean to revert.

"Complete mess with the sources"
editHi, I just noted you reverted an addition I made to the Sherlock Holmes page. Can you point out what the issue is with the sources? I'd like to get your input to make the addition better, so it would be good to see what the specific issue was. Thanks! Deathlibrarian (talk) 04:02, 5 November 2020 (UTC)
July 2021
editHello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to BBC does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! --Renat 22:58, 22 July 2021 (UTC)

editPro-merging IP user
editThanks for your attempts at undoing merging templates off certain Beano pages. Just writing to let you know the IP user tried to get me to report you for your hard work. Careful out there. —MonkeyStolen234 (talk) 19:05, 6 February 2022 (UTC)

edit Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Gun violence in the United States into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. /wiae /tlk 11:50, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
Alice
editHi Gabriella
Would u mind telling me which part of the Alice in Wonderland article states that there are conflicting sources for Alice Liddell being the inspiration? I re-read it and didn't understand which part you were referring to Stephanie921 (talk) 17:01, 25 July 2022 (UTC)
Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
edit Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Roald Dahl into Matilda (novel). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution

Recent revert
editRegarding your recent revert, can you please show me where it says that contentious issues that are properly referenced need a prior discussion? Thanks Minden500 (talk) 13:15, 19 September 2024 (UTC)
