You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used only for advertising or promotion.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  MER-C 15:00, 20 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Unbelievable. I don't understand your unreasonable act. On what basis do you call fake news? You can't change the fact. What is legal to unilaterally evacuate and block me who wrote in good faith with one-sided prejudice?

Request reason:

My account was blocked about a year ago. During this time, I studied in more depth the editing rules on Wikipedia and I understand that I violated the WP:PROMO rule. I undertake not to violate this rule in the future and to edit only from a neutral point of view. I am very sorry that I violated this rule. I hope my further edits will be useful and of good quality. Best regards, FutureProofs (talk) 11:11, 18 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Procedural decline only. This unblock request has been open for more than two weeks but has not proven sufficient for any reviewing administrator to take action. You are welcome to request a new block review if you substantially reword your request. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 11:10, 4 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

It's all well and good to say that you "violated the WP:PROMO rule", and won't violate it again. Are you able to explain exactly how you plan to avoid breaking it again? SQLQuery Me! 20:12, 18 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
SQL: Thank you for your reply. Since my account was newly created, I didn't have a deep understanding of the policies and guidelines. I was not even warned that I was breaking the WP:PROMO rule (please, see WP:BEFOREBLOCK). In order not to violate this rule again, I will use WP:RS as the main source and text written from a WP:NPOV, avoiding WP:ADVERTISING. What do you intend to edit about if unblocked? CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n! 07:16, 23 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
I wanted to edit articles related to music artists, but my area of interest is much wider than that. Since my account doesn't have a lot of editing history, I'll start by creating a new article through the WP:AFC. Best regards, FutureProofs (talk) 07:34, 25 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

2nd request

Request reason:

A year ago I made my first edits on Wikipedia and my account was suspended. During this time, I got acquainted with the WP:GUIDELINE and a couple of weeks ago I opened a request and asked for unblocking the account. A few days ago, a "procedural decline" decision was made. I reaffirm that I am aware that I broke the WP:PROMO and WP:ADS rules a year ago. It is no longer necessary to keep my account blocked, since I have studied in detail the rules for writing articles from a WP:NPOV, using WP:RS, avoiding WP:PROMOTION and WP:SPAMLINKS, and much more. I confirm that my contributions to Wikipedia will be useful and of good quality. You can give me a 2nd chance to be convinced of this, and not just rely on my words. I look forward to your support in resolving this issue. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Best regards, FutureProofs (talk) 12:39, 12 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

* I'm pinging MER-C hoping to help with unblocking the account. Thank you in advance for your time. Best regards, FutureProofs (talk) 21:20, 25 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
A couple of queries come to mind, but let's start with: the edit that led to you being blocked was a real deluge of (poor) sources - could you give me an example moderate-size edit, properly sourced, to any article within the field of articles you indicated above. Nosebagbear (talk) 13:56, 28 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
Nosebagbear Thank you for your response! I would like to add this text to this section:

"On 6 August 2021, the new album Exiles was released. The album was recorded in 2019, in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, with the collaboration of a conductor Kristjan Järvi and the Baltic Sea Philharmonic.[1] The Exiles also includes extended versions of previously released works such as "The Haunted Ocean", "Infra 5", "Flowers Of Herself", "On The Nature Of Daylight" and "Sunlight".[2] Max Richter describes the Exile album as a serious work because of its theme of the subject, which has an emotional texture.[3]"

  • This looks good. I've dropped a talk page message on blocking admin for their opinion, as I'd be inclined to unblock per ROPE, subject to you agreeing to a restriction that any new article would go through AfC, until you have had three accepted. Would this be acceptable to you? Nosebagbear (talk) 10:56, 30 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

  • I would like you to expand upon your initial unblock request, and the problems with it. Why did you say Unbelievable. I don't understand your unreasonable act. On what basis do you call fake news? You can't change the fact. What is legal to unilaterally evacuate and block me who wrote in good faith with one-sided prejudice?? You later stated you'd violated promo but didn't retract this message. Why did you say it? Do you stand by it? If you don't, what was wrong about each sentence that had any problems? Please feel free to provide lots of detail. What specifically made your edits violate PROMO? Nosebagbear (talk) 13:19, 30 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
Nosebagbear Yes, thank you! This will be great for me. My first comment was made as an emotional reaction to my blocking and which has nothing significant in itself. Later, I got acquainted with the rules, and the sources that I used were unreliable and were of an advertising nature, according to the rules of Wikipedia (self-promotion, unreliable sources, official websites of musicians, etc.). Best regards, FutureProofs (talk) 03:04, 31 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
  • Dear MER-C, I saw your comment that you left on your talk page. I can assure you again that there is no need to keep my account blocked. That is why I asked for a second chance, to be convinced not only of my words but also of my actions. If you need to know the answers to any questions, please let me know. I will gladly cooperate. Best regards, FutureProofs (talk) 01:18, 3 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Help unblocking my account

edit

Dear Nosebagbear, I need your advice and help. My account was suspended in March 2021. I applied for unblocking twice, but in both cases, the procedural decline was made. Please see here and here. Should I open a third request or which administrator can I contact who will have time to analyze my situation and make a decision other than a procedural decline. I will be very grateful for your answer. Best regards, FutureProofs (talk) 09:58, 12 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

AN

edit

While I remain cautiously possible that this editor could be a net gain, @MER-C: clearly is not, and thus the next logical step is to take this to WP:AN for a full community review.

@FutureProofs, if you create an appeal to the Community, I will copy it across for you. Community appeals should clearly state what the problem, or problems, were that got you blocked, why each of them no longer applies and thus why you should be unblocked. Nosebagbear (talk) 10:45, 12 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Dear Nosebagbear, I am very thankful for your help! Here is my appeal to the community.

Dear editors, a year ago, I registered on Wikipedia, made my first edits and my account was suspended. Since my account was newly created, I didn't have a deep understanding of the policies and guidelines. But during this time, I got acquainted with the WP:GUIDELINE in more details and realized that I broke the WP:PROMO and WP:ADS rules a year ago. In February of this year, I opened a request and asked for unblocking the account. I started a discussion with other editors, but as a result a "procedural decline" decision was made. In March of this year, I opened a second request, confirming once again that it is no longer necessary to keep my account blocked, since I have studied in detail the rules for writing articles from a WP:NPOV, using WP:RS, avoiding WP:PROMOTION and WP:SPAMLINKS, and much more. I have also requested a 2nd chance to be convinced of this, and not just rely on my words. However, the procedural decline was made again. Since I'm not sure that the third request will give a result, I need your advice and help in resolving this issue. If you need to know the answers to any questions, please let me know. I will gladly cooperate. Thank you in advance for your time. Best regards, FutureProofs (talk) 12:36, 16 April 2022 (UTC)

Appeal

edit

Dear Nosebagbear, is there any news regarding my appeal? or maybe you can suggest another way to unblock my account? Best regards, FutureProofs (talk) 10:20, 2 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

  • Dear Nosebagbear, Thank you very much for your efforts! I appreciate it very much. Have a wonderful day! Best regards, FutureProofs (talk) 13:13, 5 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
  • De nada, 'Proofs. As the Community did a straight unblock, and no-one else raised the idea, the conditions I originally proposed above do not exist. I would however suggest that the first article you create from scratch (and by no means feel obliged to rush towards that), would be smoother run through AfC, even if it is somewhat slower. Best of luck, Nosebagbear (talk) 13:17, 5 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thank you very much. I will follow your advice and create my first article through AfC. Best regards, FutureProofs (talk) 09:10, 12 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Unblocked

Per the consensus of the discussion at [1], you have been unblocked. Please do take care to avoid using Wikipedia as a promotional tool, otherwise, you're free to help out improving Wikipedia in whatever means you can. Bon chance! --Jayron32 16:45, 4 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
