Robocon edit

He's not a Metal Hero. The Metal Hero Series ended with Robotack, and has always been considered as such.—Ryulong (琉竜) 04:17, 31 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

I have explained my reasoning for the edits on your talk page, but in short, Super Hero Taihen (The Super Hero Taisen net movies) say Burn!! Robocon (the 1999 series) is part of Metal Heroes. It may have not always been considered Metal Heroes, but Goranger and JAKQ weren't always considered Super Sentai either. --FortMax (talk) 17:22, 31 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
Is there a reason you reverted my edits to the Metal Heroes series pages to remove Burn!! Robocon? One of the segments in Super Hero Taihen includes a list of every Metal Heroes series, and after Robotack, it has Burn!! Robocon. Now, the original Robocon series is not a Metal Heroes, but the page for it is also the page for the 1999 series that is definitely Metal Heroes. --FortMax (talk) 17:17, 31 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
A series of joke shorts should not be taken as "ZOMG WORD OF GOD". I cannot see Robocon listed anywhere in other sources as being a "Metal Hero" no matter what the Super Hero Taihen Net Movies said. Just take it as a joke and not a literal confirmation. It's not a Metal Hero. It does not match the production companies. It was just a reboot of the original Ganbare!! Robocon.—Ryulong (琉竜) 19:45, 31 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
Let's also put it this way. The Japanese Wikipedia, the editors of which who have known about the contents of the net movies since they came out in March and April, do not list Moero Robocon amongst the Metal Heroes. In fact, on the Moero article they explicitly list the "Metal Hero Series" lasting from 1989 to 1999 as being the programs that preceded Moero in its programming slot on TV Asahi. Have you considered the fact that they just list Robocon to show that there was another tokusatsu show broadcast between Robotack and Kuuga? Do not automatically assume that it's considered a member of the former just because Toei acknowledges its existence.—Ryulong (琉竜) 20:00, 31 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

All logos have to be minimal use. So you can't upload something directly taken from a DVD copy. You have to shrink it down. ANd frankly it doesn't matter what format the image is in. PNGs are technically better than JPGs though.—Ryulong (琉竜) 05:25, 16 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Ross Campbell (comics) edit

How about WP:COMMONNAME? I might also add that this is "exceptional claim" in WP:SELFPUB. Materialscientist (talk) 04:18, 7 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

MOS:IDENTITY (a guideline) specifically says it supersedes WP:COMMONNAME (a policy) in the case of gender identity. There's been an extended argument about this, which seems not to have reached consensus. FourViolas (talk) 11:17, 7 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
