I did not originally make that edit. I am an anti-vandalism trainee and another IP editor made that edit and I originally thought that it was vandalism so I reverted it, but after examining the edit I noticed that it was not vandalism so I reinstated it but I did not know that it does not belong there. No, you THREATENED me. You threatened to have me blocked. You could have -- and should have -- simply asked me to provide a source for the edit. That would be the civil thing to do. Instead, you threatened to have me blocked, and falsely accused me of "continued disruptive editing". It's like greeting a man you're meeting for the first time by punching him in the face. I don't understand why you would do something like that. You've been at Wikipedia long enough to know that communications are supposed to be "civil" (WP:CIV). After your initial threat, other editors came along to join in the fun, each making his own series of threats. None of this is very "civil," and does not encourage people to participate in Wikipedia. Next time you need to communicate with an editor, how about showing some manners and start with something like: "Hello!" and "Would you please provide a source for your recent edit?" What you did comes across like "Do what I say, or I'll bash your face in."

I don’t mean to sound rude here but have you LOOKED at the discography and the sources already on the page? What year were you born? “Pyromania” came out in January 20, 1983. It’s cited RIGHT THERE at the bottom of the main page. The single “Photograph” (the first single from that album was released two weeks later on 2/3/83. You are either trolling this page for some inexplicable reason or are clearly confusing the release of 1983’s “Pyromania” with 1987’s “Hysteria”. You want sources? Try Billboard.com? Or better yet deflepprd.com/album/pyromania. It’s common knowledge. It’s right there!

Angus and Malcolm and George young edits

Good evening, thankyou for highlighting the correct protocol when editing Wikipedia profiles. These are the first ever profiles I have ever edited. So I believed that editing correct information was something I could do. In terms of both George young, Malcolm young and Angus young, all I did was highlight that they were Scottish born. As they all are. The three brothers were all born in Glasgow and emigrated to Australia at the ages of 17, 10 and 8 respectively, these are well known factual events and numerous supporting sources can be found on the internet, books, documentary’s and on the brothers own Wikipedia pages. I was wondering how I should go about editing these and where I should put the supporting information. Any advice would be most grateful. As these guys are heroes of mine and I wanted to celebrate the fact they were Scottish born but also respect that they are Australian citizens and based there. OK, I'm not that heavily invested but your page is wrong in multiple areas. This article, as well as many others, even states that the CMDCM/FLTCM/FORCM are still E-9 paygrades which means that they are of the same rank of every other MCPO (E9) and only hold positional authority at their unit/command. And military rank and titles are proper nouns and therefore capitalized.

Leave it incorrect or accept my changes, whatever you wish. I've only served 30 years in this community and wished to put the correct information out. I do not have the time to reference these simple to understand corrections about rank (they're all E9s all the way up to the MCPON) and the capitalization. Just so you know where I was coming from, I can understand you're removing it for WP:NOTFORUM, I just disagree with your assessment of that particular removal. I haven't looked at the editors other posts but given that he was blocked for other such comments it makes sense. This particular comment, while not adding much, did attempt to add something to the conversation with

"not completely true they do belive jesus was son of god but jesus was not a prophet and jehovahs wittneses are cristians because they follow jesus example and they are loyal to jehovah they do not worship any other gods".

It's not 100% accurate (Jesus was of course a prophet according to the JW's) but it had it's points ("son of god" is correct, as is them being "cristians" and not worshipping other gods). Given that the conversation was focusing on whether they could be defined as Christians for being non-Trinitarian, it seemed appropriate. For me removing a talk post comment has to be a slam dunk case for either inappropriate or spamming, and this, again for me, didn't match it.
