Assuming your username also represents your business, you should request a rename (see infos in previous message). - Hi GermanJoe. I had not realised that my username was not acceptable. I have applied for an altered username. I am the sole user of this account and only seek to improve upon articles where they should be improved. I do not sell anything to do with Wikipedia as a service and the information provided is aimed at improving the depth of particular pages. I work with many companies and would only ever add anything which was worthy; most of my clients have nothing of worth to add to Wikipedia and I only make sporadic additions when a change is required i.e new information / data is available to improve a page, rather than remove anything. Indeed the paragraph that I altered in my previous change could do with being re-written in my opinion but it is stronger with the citation added. - Hello Seoshelter, if you want to add something related to one of your clients - worthy or not -, you should always suggest such content on article talk via edit requests instead of adding it yourself. I appreciate that you are trying to add only relevant information, but the decision to add COI-related information should always be made by uninvolved editors. Of course you are welcome to add encyclopedic content, when none of your clients is involved. GermanJoe (talk) 14:11, 14 January 2020 (UTC)
- After some more thought, I have also reverted your branche-related edits. unissu.com is not a fully independent, unbiased source as their About page clearly shows. Such PR publications are insufficient for this kind of positive information, and some of the content was phrased in a non-neutral marketing tone. - I am very saddened to see you have done this. This is a huge amount of work wasted. One link you have removed is of the UK site of an official brand that should be in place. Each item has been carefully crafted to improve upon the section and has taken me hours to get right. Could you please re-instate at least the link to Excel. Unissu collect their data from over 7000 proptech companies, they are arguably the most accurate resource for this type of data and are about to be published in Oxford University publications using their data. If Oxford University are happy to use it I would have thought it would be OK for Wikipedia. I can re-write anything but to remove all of my edits is so upsetting. - The additional Excel link is against WP:ELMINOFFICIAL (generally 1 official link per topic). If you disagree with the removal of your contribution in Digital transformation, you are of course welcome to suggest this edit on article talk to discuss it with additional uninvolved editors (you'll find the removed content in article history if you need a copy). I will not restore these edits as they are not based on an uninvolved expert source, but as with any disputed edit you are encouraged to use article talk for further discussion. Usually, specific content-related disagreements should be resolved on article talk anyway (user talk is intended more for user-related advice and general editing tips).
